Daniel Saenz Breckenridge

“Yes, Patrick Mahomes is as elite as elite can be, but I’m going with the best team overall rather than the best player. In what promises to be a thriller, I’ll take San Francisco beating Kansas City, and McCaffrey taking the Super Bowl MVP award”

Prediction: 49ers 27, Chiefs 23

Jonathan Adams

Lost money betting against Patrick Mahomes in the AFC Championship. Not doing that again.

Prediction: Chiefs 28, 49ers 17

Jim Fuller

The 49ers should be able to put pressure on Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes with the pass rush and disrupt the Chiefs passing game. Expect the Niners to lean on Christian McCaffrey to win the Super Bowl for the first time in nearly  30 years.

Prediction: San Francisco 30, Kansas City 27

Matt De Saro

As much as I wanted to side with the 49ers to win the Super Bowl, as they are the better team on paper, my brain kept finding ways to bet on the Chiefs. One, in particular, is the Chiefs continue to beat teams who are supposed to be “better” than KC. The Ravens were a better team, and they lost when it counted the most. The Bills arguably had a better team, too, but the Chiefs escaped. We see a similar outcome on Super Bowl Sunday: the Chiefs overcome and cash as underdogs.

Prediction: Chiefs 27, 49ers 24
