Just About A Pick ‘Em
It’s the third and final meeting between the Calgary Stampeders and BC Lions this Saturday evening The latter won both of the previous games, which were nail-biters. Is the third time a charm with the visitors? The CFL football odds have this too tough to predict, leaning on the Lions. Additionally, the total is set at 54½, the highest this week (3½ more than the CFL average).
Let’s check the latest Canadian Football odds, stats, injury reports, and Canadian Football lines for Stampeders vs Lions. We’ve plenty of Vegas Canadian Football odds for you to consider.
Stampeders Over The Hump?
Calgary is 8-5 this season, all five losses coming against the two best teams in the CFL in the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and BC Lions. In two losses against BC were by a combined three points. Calgary and British Columbia have a penchant to play some razor-thin decisions, but Calgary has been on the losing end.
Quarterback Jake Maier was nearly perfect against BC, 301 passing yards and three scores. He failed to hit that two-point conversion that would have saved Calgary in overtime. It was another case of Maier and the Stamps’ offense coming up short, despite having played efficiently over 90 percent of the game.

The loss at McMahon Stadium kept Calgary winless against the spread (0-6) at home. However, the good news is that they’re the away side. Calgary is 6-1 against the spread (ATS) on the road, where they have been more prolific this season. That’s also why betting online on the over, 6-3 in six of Calgary’s last nine road trips, is a sharp way to go.
Adams Stopping Stamps
Vernon Adams Jr. was held out of the end zone in last week’s win over Calgary, but the veteran quarterback still won, improving his record to 4-2 against the Stampeders. He is one of only two starting quarterbacks (Zach Collaros) to have a winning record against the Stamps.
The wide-receiving duo of Bryan Burnham and Dominique Rhymes continue to be a potent weapon in the offense, the two compiling 12 catches and 191 receiving yards. Burnham has torched Calgary (265 yards, 17.7 yards per catch in two games).
Now, the Lions return to BC Place where they can do two things, as in sweep Calgary this season, and snap their five-game venue series losing streak. If the sportsbook is accurate, British Columbia has to earn it.
Stampeders vs Lions Head-to-Head
The Lions may be 2-0 against the Stampeders this season, but Calgary is 16-5 in its last 21 games against British Columbia. Calgary is also 5-1 ATS in its last six in Vancouver. Total has gone over in four of these team’s last five games.

Stampeders vs Lions Prediction
Whenever Calgary and British Columbia meet, there’s drama and fireworks. This is a can’t-miss contest, and we lean on Calgary to finally get past BC. We’re not too confident to wager that way. Instead, we’ll take over at 54½.
Calgary has scored 29 or more points in its last four games against the Lions. Adams has proven he can get the Lions going on offense. Expect a game where both teams score 30+ points, crushing the over.
