We can harp on Tomlin’s unflattering playoff record since he last won a Super Bowl. But in the regular season, Tomlin is king. Washington is the sexy new team right now. It will be hard to beat, especially after acquiring four-time Pro Bowler Marshon Lattimore to bolster the secondary.

Additionally, the Commanders have not allowed an opponent to hit the 20-point mark as a host. Dan Quinn is coaching his butt off as the defense, which did not upgrade tremendously since last season, is playing like an elite unit.

But Pittsburgh also put up 32 and 24 points the last time it played on the road. Fair play, Pittsburgh faced Indianapolis and Las Vegas, two of the worst defensive teams. But with Wilson playing with a vengeance, Pittsburgh has a shot here.

We may still lean toward Washington slightly. But as bettors, the Steelers are the best NFL prediction today. The gap between these teams is not that significant and the Steelers’ veteran savvy may just outweigh Washington’s youthful exuberance.
