2024 Sunday Night Football Schedule & TV Info

Is there anything better than a full Sunday of pro football action from morning until late afternoon? Why, yes, yes, there is! Ask any football fan, especially those into online betting, and they’ll tell you that not many things beat the excitement of closing out a weekend with a dose of Sunday Night Football.

In what has become one of pro sports’ most important and longstanding traditions, the NFL gives its faithful followers one last pop of action each Sunday night to finish the weekend with a bang.

Like with all other dates in the 2024 NFL schedule, the NFL has imposed a flexible scheduling rule since 2006. This rule ensures quality matchups each Sunday night for the duration of the season and gives teams that don’t necessarily hog the spotlight a chance to show their stuff on primetime TV.

Considering this, the league has instated the following rules for flexible scheduling of games when it comes to Sunday Night Football:

1. For Sunday Night Football in Weeks 5-13 and for Monday Night Football in Weeks 12-17, the NFL will decide (after consultation with CBS, FOX, NBC, and ESPN) and announce no later than 12 days in advance of the game, which game will be played on Sunday night and which game will be played on Monday night.

  1. For Sunday Night Football in Weeks 14-17, the flexible scheduling decision will generally be made no later than six days prior to the game.

As we prepare for the 2024 season, here is a full rundown of the complete NFL SNF schedule to start spiking your NFL betting strategy:

How To Understand NFL Odds and Betting Lines

The world of online NFL betting can be daunting; we get it. It’s very easy to get lost in the motions between trying to understand how NFL odds and betting lines work and making sure you come up with a winning ticket.

But come on; you didn’t think we here at BetUS Sportsbook were about to leave you hanging out to dry right before the start of the 2024 NFL season

To get you ready for all the action that’s about to start unfolding and make sure you can make the best out of all your weekly NFL picks, let’s run through a basic 101 of understanding NFL odds and betting lines.

First, the basics. The NFL season consists of 18 weeks of action in which at least 16 games are played maximum on the schedule. Alongside morning and afternoon schedule slates on Sundays, three marquee weekly dates take most NFL news headlines: Thursday Night Football (TNF), Sunday Night Football (SNF), and Monday Night Football (MNF).

Regarding betting on NFL action, the picks are plentiful, and here at BetUS, we’ve got them all. From moneyline and ATS (Against the spread) picks to over/under, parlays, and prop bets, we’ve got you and your betting game covered for the season.

So how do they work? Get ready for a whirlwind explanation of NFL betting picks:

    • Moneyline: Easiest bet of them all; you pick an outright winner of each game, be it the favorite (-) or underdog (+).
    • Spread: The most popular pick for NFL betting odds fans. Here, you don’t pick an outright winner. Instead, you choose whether team A can win by an “X” amount of points, or team B will either lose by as many points as the margin offers or wins the game, causing an upset.
    • Over/Under: Here, it’s not about taking team A or team B; you’re betting on both of them to either go over or under the slated amount of points scored for the game. Do you think the game will be an offensive shootout? Bet the over! Are NFL predictions experts calling the game a defensive standoff? Take the under!
    • NFL Parlays: Take various picks of your liking from an array of games for the weekend and try to devise a betting ticket that could push you to a massive payout. Remember, if one pick falls through, the final win does, too.
    • NFL props: Focused on specific events that can happen within a game or series of games, these bets are all about stats and player performances and are not related to the final score or outcome of the game directly. Nowadays, they’ve become some of the most popular NFL bets for fans.
    • Futures: Just like props, you’re not betting on the outcome of any game but instead focussing on specific future events, such as divisional and conference winners, the winner of Super Bowl LIX, this coming season’s MVP Award winner, Offensive and Defensive Rookies of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year. If you have a talent for predicting the future, how about taking a stab at some 2024 NFL futures betting odds?

Tips To Make The Best 2024 Season NFL Picks

Now that online NFL betting school is out, let’s talk about what matters most right now: some hot tips to ensure that your 2024 NFL season picks lead you to wins week in and week out.

  • Keep a close eye on how each conference title race is shaping up. Entering the season, the Kansas City Chiefs (+330) and Baltimore Ravens (+550) hold the best opening odds to win the AFC conference. Over in the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers (+275) and Detroit Lions (+550) are leading the pack. Even if these teams seem like very enticing picks right now, keeping an eye on other contenders and pretenders could lead to a bigger payout here.

In the waiting game that is playing with NFL futures betting odds, favorites can change weekly.

  • Key Performers Can Make Or Break Your Bets. We all know about the Patrick Mahomes’, Lamar Jackson’s, Christian McCaffrey’s, and Jalen Hurts’ of the league. There’s a reason why they are all riding high in our odds to win the regular season MVP award rankings. But in a league like the NFL, where any given player can become a star from one week to the next, keeping an eye on and understanding performers throughout the league could spark a whole new wave of profits, especially with how popular NFL games and player props have become.

  • Stay up to date with all information. Once the season gets going, NFL news and rumors become an everyday occurrence, which means that staying one step ahead of the game when it comes to knowing about the team and players’ actuality is essential. From on and off the field issues and disputes to injury concerns, everything comes into play when wanting to come up with a winning NFL odds strategy, and for the 2024 season, with so much on the line, that couldn’t be any truer.Lucky for you, here at BetUS Sportsbook, we’ve got you covered with all the latest news, analysis, odds, lines, picks, and predictions. So worry not, and get to betting on the 2024 NFL season here.
