Which Players Are the Best Bet To Score in SBLVI?

The top bets in these markets should come as no surprise to anyone. They are composed of the best and most prolific scorers from both camps.

Super Bowl 56 Props Betting Preview

Best Bets From the Rams and Bengals

Triple-crown winner Cooper Kupp emerges as the top bet in all these markets – he’s the runaway favorite at -200 to score anytime and the top bet at +550 to score the first touchdown with BetUS sportsbook. Kupp leads the way in the postseason with four touchdowns in three games. He scored two against the Niners in the NFC title game, including the first touchdown of the game.

Sticking with the Rams, the next best bets to emerge in the first touchdown market are Cam Akers (+800) and Odell Beckham Jr. (900). The pair are also top options to score anytime with Akers priced at -125 and Beckham at +115.

Akers is an interesting one because he has yet to score a touchdown in the postseason. It’s no secret that the Rams don’t necessarily lean on their run game, although coach Sean McVay might change tact for this game.

Beckham Jr. on the other hand is worth considering in this betting online market. The star wide receiver’s renaissance in Los Angeles has been nothing short of spectacular – and self-validating after his acrimonious departure from Cleveland. Beckham has 236 receiving yards and a touchdown in the playoffs.

Since joining the Rams in November, Beckham put up 248 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He gives Stafford another option to target on the offense, especially if Kupp is under double coverage.

Tyler Higbee (+1400), Kendall Blanton (+1600), Sony Michel (+1600) and Van Jefferson (+1600) are priced where one would expect they’d be for the go-ahead score, while Matthew Stafford is a bit of a longshot at +3300 to score the first touchdown. The smarter strategy for this group is to consider their anytime touchdown odds (see BetUS odds below).

BetUS Odds: PLAYER TO SCORE FIRST TOUCHDOWN

  • Cooper Kupp (LAR) +550
  • Cam Akers (LAR) +800
  • Odell Beckham Jr. (LAR) +900

  • Drew Sample (CIN) +2000
  • Samaje Perine (CIN) +2000
  • Joe Burrow (CIN) +2500
  • Field +900

On the Bengals’ side of the coin, the top bet is Joe Mixon at +650. Mixon leads all rushers in the postseason with 190 yards through three games and a touchdown. Mixon’s lone touchdown came against the Titans in the Divisional Round.

Ja’Marr Chase at +900 to score the first touchdown and at -110 to score anytime is, arguably, the best bet for Cincinnati. The rookie wide receiver’s chemistry with quarterback Joe Burrow is undeniable, and on this massive occasion, it wouldn’t be surprising if the former LSU teammates turn to each other. Chase has 279 receiving yards and one touchdown in the playoffs.

Tee Higgins (+1100) and Tyler Boyd (+1600) and C.J. Uzomah (+1800) are alternative options for Burrow on the offense. Boyd and Uzomah have a touchdown each in the playoffs but Higgins is still waiting for a first.

Injuries To Spot

Uzomah (lower body) is listed as questionable for the Bengals, while Higbee (knee) is listed as doubtful for the Rams. Akers (shoulder) is listed as probable, but this could impact his contribution for Los Angeles, and, in turn, the viability of his NFL odds to come through in either of the aforementioned markets. Similarly, Jefferson (knee) is listed as questionable for the Rams
