There has been a lot of chatter about Patrick Mahomes’ health and how it will affect him and the Chiefs on Super Bowl Sunday. From where I sit, I believe Mahomes is around 75% healthy and may need to pull the emergency cord more often than usual against the Eagles. Mahomes’ favorite person to turn to when he needs to be bailed out is Kelce, and I believe this makes for a great Super Bowl bet for the tight end at plus odds.

Travis Kelce 9+ Receptions (+180)
Kelce is a lot of things, including one of the best pass-catchers in NFL history and a member of one of the most prolific QB/Receiver combos the league has ever seen. He and Mahomes are on the precipice of breaking Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski’s all-time playoff record of 15 touchdown catches.
With Mahomes less than 100%, he will need to utilize his safety blanket on Sunday, and I think Kelce will have a monster game. The Eagles play outstanding defense against tight ends, but Kelce is near-matchup proof, and I trust him to shine against anything the Eagles will throw at him.
So far, Kelce totaled 21 receptions in two playoff games on 25 targets. Nine is a lot of catches for any player to muster. But, Kelce is good enough that our Super Bowl prediction is for him to near or nab double-digit catches.
