We’ve discussed the Eagles and their ability to sack opposing quarterbacks and even made a few Super Bowl bets based on Philly’s sack rate. But we haven’t talked about how often the Eagles give up sacks and the Chiefs’ spectacular pass rush.
Let’s check the latest Super Bowl picks, stats, injury reports, and Super Bowl odds. We’ve got plenty of Super Bowl lines for you to consider.
Chiefs OVER 2 ½ Sacks (-125)
I stand behind my pick for the Eagles to out-sack the Chiefs, but that doesn’t mean that Jalen Hurts will walk off the field with a clean uniform.
The Eagles may lead the league in sack rate on defense, but on offense, they rank 21st (7.29%). When the Eagles are forced to pass, they don’t do a great job protecting their QB. Hurts has been sacked three or more times on eight occasions this season, and Minshew got down six times in one game. The Eagles were also the most-sacked team in the postseason.

The Eagles will need to pass more than usual, giving the Chiefs ample time to put together a three-sack day.
The Chiefs’ defense ranked 5th in sack rate (8.15%) during the regular season and sacked Joe Burrow five times in the AFC Championship.
KC brings pressure from all over the field, and our final defensive Super Bowl prediction is on the Chiefs to succeed at least three times.
