Super Bowl 58 is just a few days away, and time is running out to make picks on the biggest NFL game of the season. The current Super Bowl odds have remained steady for most of the week in favor of the San Francisco 49ers -2 ATS. The same is true with the total, which has been at 47.5 since the weekend.
With hundreds of props to pick from and betting against the spreads and totals, the sheer amount of wagers on the board is almost overwhelming.
I’ve covered this game from about every angle over the last week and a half, but I have yet to write a straight-up “vanilla” preview. So let’s step back from all the Taylor Swift, Gatorade, and exotic props and focus on the game.

Chiefs vs 49ers Super Bowl Pick: Chiefs +105
I’ve made my case for the Chiefs several times in the last week, and I trust them so much that my favorite bet online is on the alternative spread with Kansas City at -2.5. But, to keep things simple for this Super Bowl betting preview, I recommend taking the Chiefs to win outright at +105.
The Chiefs are coming off back-to-back weeks where they beat teams – both on the road – in the playoffs that were arguably better than them on paper. They are better coached, have a better quarterback and their defense is playing far better than the 49ers.
Chiefs vs 49ers Best Player Prop Bet: Deebo Samuel 3+ Carries (-120), Deebo Samuel 17+ Yards (-121)
Of all the players on the 49ers’ impressive offense, Deebo Samuel might be the most dynamic. His ability to operate as a wideout and in the backfield makes him invaluable to this team.
Going from the last player to be drafted to a Super Bowl game in less than two years puts massive pressure on young quarterback Brock Purdy. He will be looking to get the ball into the hands of his playmakers to take some of that pressure off, and Samuel is the perfect candidate.

With that in mind, I want to add Samuel to have three or more carries on Sunday, a line he has hit in eight of his 11 career postseason games. To make the NFL odds even better for this wager, I think it’s smart to add Samuel to rush for 17+ yards and make a parlay of it.
