Take Bears to Cover Spread at Home vs Vikings
Teams competing as the NFC North worst team clash when the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears battle on Sunday. Both the Vikings and Bears are seeking their second win of the season and first win in division play as each looks to get a leg up and out of last place in the NFC North. However, according to NFL odds for Oct. 15, Minnesota is a slight favorite on the road.
Vikings in Trouble
Minnesota’s defense has struggled to slow many teams this season, but that may not be the worst of its issues Sunday.

Though the Vikings have given up 24.4 points a game, their offense has hit a skid the last couple of weeks, averaging 16.5 points.
Minnesota’s offense will have even more trouble as it will be without its top offensive weapon in wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who went on injured reserve after leading the team with 571 yards and three touchdowns.
Wide receiver Jordan Addison’s status is also up in the air, and with the Vikings struggling to establish the run game, his status will be something to keep an eye on as bettors are making NFL picks for Oct. 15.
Bears Show Improvement
Chicago earned its first win of the season after its offense has continued to show growth over the season.
After averaging 15.7 points and 250 yards in the Bears’ first three games, their offense improved to 34 points and 461 yards in their last two games.

Quarterback Justin Fields had one of his best days as a passer in Chicago’s first win, throwing for 282 yards and four touchdowns while also finishing his first game without an interception.
Though Washington and Denver’s defenses aren’t quite as strong as the first three the Bears faced in the first three weeks, Minnesota’s defense still leaves room for improvement as well, but bettors still may want to see if Chicago can continue its recent solid offensive play before looking at NFL live betting odds.
Vikings vs Bears Best Bet
With how both teams have been playing recently and the injuries the Vikings are facing, this game could go either way with NFL lines giving Minnesota a 2½-point edge.
However, despite the short line, the Bears have the chance to cover as Minnesota’s offense hasn’t been producing as well lately and will likely continue to struggle with Jefferson’s absence.
With Fields and wide receiver DJ Moore continuing to establish a strong connection, the Bears have the chance to take advantage of an iffy Minnesota pass defense as well. The Bears should be able to keep things close with the Vikings at home and cover the spread.
