Why You Should Be Bullish on the Texans

There is reason for optimism in Houston, which has not happened since Deshaun Watson was at his peak and leading the Texans to playoff runs. The question is how soon Houston will see results from what looks to be a strong 2023 draft class led by Stroud and Will Anderson.

Even this week, it is plausible to see the Texans hanging with the Jaguars. Few people are talking about an underrated Texans receiving group. Nico Collins, rookie Tank Dell and Robert Woods all topped the 70-yard receiving mark against Indianapolis in Week 2. Stroud is not only talented but has a trio of receivers that can grow around him in the Texans offense.

Aside from the Jaguars having a deeper roster, there is also the reality that Jacksonville is coming off a frustrating loss to the Chiefs. The Jags are likely looking at this Week 3 matchup as a “get right” spot after failing to find the end zone against Kansas City.
