A pair of unbeatens, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams, battle for NFC supremacy on Sunday afternoon.
It’s an important game with both teams starting 2-0, but we think it’s a trap game for bettors. The Buccaneers are -1 favorites on the road, but with the New England Patriots up next week, it’s a look-ahead spot.
Tampa Bay’s Tom Brady can’t wait to face his old team, so that could give the advantage to the Rams in this situation.
Las Vegas NFL odds has a 2-0 team as a home underdog, so bettors get value in our Trap Game of the Week.
Should Rams be Underdogs?
We understand the Los Angeles Rams are facing the unbeaten Super Bowl champions, but they have looked rather impressive.
The opening win over the Chicago Bears came easily, and they followed it with a hard-fought, 27-24 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Returning to SoFi Stadium is ideal and we would make a case that the Rams should and could firm into favorites on game day.

Steady money is coming for the home team, and with Matthew Stafford at the quarterback position, there is much more confidence in Los Angeles than when Jared Goff was running the offense.
NFL predictions have this being a close game, so the Rams defense could make the difference. They have allowed just 19 points per game, compared to the 27 points allowed by the Buccaneers.
It’s a sizable difference, so we’re not surprised by the line movement.
Brady Eyes Week 4 Clash
We wouldn’t blame Brady for looking ahead to the Week 4 clash against the New England Patriots.
It’s going to be one of the most anticipated games of the season, and playing two tough road games in a row isn’t easy.
The Buccaneers could be looking ahead to the game, especially Brady. That’s not to say they won’t be focused on the Rams, but they are aware of what’s around the corner, so effort levels can take a dive.

We don’t expect the Buccaneers to go unbeaten for too much longer. This is a clear trap game and the odds could move in favor of the Rams.
Bettors could see the attractive odds for the Buccaneers to win the game outright and immediately place the bet. However, it could pay to look twice at what the current market means for the Buccaneers vs Rams.
Brady has extra motivation to target the Patriots next week, especially after his trainer Alex Guerrero has come out criticizing New England coach Bill Belichick.
“It was like Bill never really … I think his emotions or feelings never evolved with age,” Guerrero told ESPN. “As Tom got into his late 30s or early 40s, I think Bill was still trying to treat him like that 20-year-old kid that he drafted. And all the players, I think, realized Tom was different.
What the Market Suggests
There hasn’t been a lot of market movement, but we expect most of the money to come for the Rams.
Betting on a home underdog is a good way to make money at the sportsbook, and the Rams could firm into favoritism on Sunday.
The -1 for the Buccaneers is begging to be taken, but we think the value is with the Rams. Under different circumstances, we would suggest taking the Buccaneers, but not in this situation.
Take the points spread of +1, which is currently paying even money.
