Week 8 NFC East Props: Prescott, McLaurin Best Value Bets
Alright boys and girls, who’s ready to talk about the NFC East and its action waiting to unfold this weekend? With the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders in action, what are some of the hottest predictions for NFL wagering fanatics this weekend?
Without further ado, let’s break down three of the best NFC East prop bets to be focusing on in Week 8.

If Dak Can Avoid Donald, Over Too Good to Pass Up
Can somebody please cut Dak Prescott some slack, for the love of God? Nah, who am I kidding. Prescott deserves all the heat he’s getting week in and week out for continuing to underwhelm as the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. Still though, in Dallas’ upcoming home matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, one of the more interesting NFL games this week, I’m willing to go with the idea of Prescott stepping up and leading his team to victory.
In order to do so, though, Prescott will need help from his offensive line, especially to block and keep Aaron Donald away as much as possible. If Prescott can get the ball out of his hands fast and often, he could easily produce a large amount of passing yards, beating the over in our sportsbook and leading his team to victory.
Pick: Dak Prescott over 242.5 passing yards (-113)
Roll with Howell’s Favorite Target and his Over
Even if my man gets sacked more than humanly possible, I have to admit I’m beginning to grow fond of Commanders QB Sam Howell. When he’s not laying on his back, the man loves to spread the ball around through all of his receivers, but there’s one in particular that gets the most love – and it’s who you should be targeting as a perfect NFL player prop bet candidate. Yes, star wideout Terry McLaurin.
With Philadelphia’s secondary allowing around 227 passing yards per game and McLaurin having an average of 85.5 receiving yards per game in his past two games, going over 57.5 receiving yards here should be a breeze for Howell’s No.1 target.
Pick: Terry McLaurin over 57.5 receiving yards (-114)
Looking for a Giants Prop? Take Waller to Score at Least Once
In my AFC East prop bet article, I gave the Jets vs Giants game a bit of hell. There’s really nothing too enticing to want to bet on. But since I’m a generous person and a lover of people making money off my picks, here’s a Giants pick to sweeten your NFL betting odds strategy for Sunday.
Last week in New York’s win against Washington, Darren Waller, one of the better tight ends in the NFC, finally scored his first touchdown of the season, making his 98-yard receiving yard performance that much better. Somehow it feels as if playing with Tyrod Taylor instead of Daniel Jones at QB fits him better, but hey, who am I to judge?
While I don’t see the Giants beating the Jets here, I could see Waller sneaking into the end zone for a score. And with his prop for scoring at least one TD at +300, it’s an online NFL betting steal ripe for the taking.
Pick: Darren Waller at least 1 TD (+300)
Questions of the Day
Which NFC East quarterback will throw for the most passing yards in Week 8?
Dak Prescott. Dallas’ QB needs to step up his game even more, and in his team’s matchup against the Rams I can see him stepping up and passing for the most yards in the division in Week 8.
Which NFC East player will score the most touchdowns in Week 8?
Your best NFC East prop bet for which player will score the most touchdowns should be going to Philadelphia’s A.J. Brown. With Jalen Hurts having him as his favorite target, it’s definitely the way to go.
