Chicago and Green Bay are wasting no time in starting the season with their rivalry matchup. The Bears are one-point favorites over the Packers in the Week 1 NFL lines. Things will look a bit different with Aaron Rodgers no longer talking trash to the Bears sideline.

Meanwhile, the Vikings play host to the new-look Buccaneers to kickoff the season. One thing to watch is the Alexander Mattison show now that Dalvin Cook is no longer with Minnesota. Kirk Cousins also has a new weapon in rookie receiver Jordan Addison.

Here is a look at my best NFC North prop bets based on the latest Vegas NFL odds, per BetUS.

Bears QB Justin Fields to Score a TD vs. Packers (+140)

Fresh off 1,143 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns on the ground in 2022, we are backing Justin Fields to find the end zone in Week 1. The latest NFL odds have Fields scoring a touchdown at +140. If you are feeling frisky, you can bet Fields to score two or more TDs at +700 but keep in mind this only happened one time in 2022.

The Bears’ self-proclaimed daddy is now playing for the Jets, so we will see if Fields can turn the tides in the rivalry matchup.

Vikings RB Alexander Mattison Over 55.5 Rushing Yards vs. Bucs (-124)

With the Vikings releasing Cook this offseason, it is officially Mattison SZN in the Minnesota backfield. Unfortunately, for some reason every time I hear his name, the “Hamilton” soundtrack plays in my mind (perhaps the Alexander connection). Hopefully, this is now in your head as well, but I digress.

Mattison is headed for a career year now that he has a firm grip on the Vikes RB1 spot. I like Mattison to comfortably hit the over on the 55.5 rushing yards threshold at -124.

Vikings QB Kirk Cousins Over 1.5 Touchdown Passes vs. Bucs (-145)

Coming off the momentum from his starring role in the Netflix “Quarterback” series, Cousins is looking to have the same success on the field. Cousins’ approval rating has to be at an all-time high after being so freaking likable on that show.

Tampa Bay is going to have to find a way to contain both Justin Jefferson as well as Addison. Let’s take Cousins to pass for more than 1.5 touchdowns against the Buccaneers.

I do like that!

Bears WR D.J. Moore to Score First Touchdown in Chicago-Green Bay Game (+950)

This is my YOLO prop bet of the week but here is the context. Fields has a new WR1 in D.J. Moore and the buzz throughout training camp is that the Bears quarterback is already connecting with his new receiver.

Moore to score the first touchdown of the Packers-Bears game is juicy at +950. Go .D.J, that’s my D.J.
