NHL Tuesday Grand(est) Salami Betting Preview
Totals Preview
With 11 NHL games on deck, we may have our biggest Grand Salami yet. The total goals are set at 67½, which averages to just over six a game. You can bet with the BetUS online sportsbook for this to happen. as a mixture of flimsy defending and combustible scoring await most of the matchups.
Florida Panthers vs Pittsburgh Penguins
Can the Pittsburgh Penguins slow down the Florida Panthers? Ten of Florida’s last 15 games have gone over. The NHL odds point to this one following the trend, especially given the fact that five of Pittsburgh’s last six home games have gone over.

Pick: Over 6½ (-120)
Vegas Golden Knights vs Philadelphia Flyers
Bet online against goaltending when the Vegas Golden Knights meet with the Philadelphia Flyers. Vegas has given up three or more goals in four of their last six games while the Flyers are allowing nearly 3.8 goals per game since 2022.
Pick: Over 6 (-110)
Colorado Avalanche vs New Jersey Devils
Two prolific offenses meet as the Colorado Avalanche visit the New Jersey Devils. Five of these teams’ last seven games have gone over their totals. Colorado scores over 3.7 goals on the road, the third-most in the NHL, while the Devils have averaged the same in their last four home games.
Pick: Over 6½ (-105)
Arizona Coyotes vs Detroit Red Wings
At least one team has scored three or more goals in the last 10 games featuring the Detroit Red Wings. They welcome the red-hot Arizona Coyotes, who scored eight goals on the Ottawa Senators. It’s unlikely they repeat this feat, though four of their last five road games’ totals have gone over.
Pick: Over 6 (-115)

Seattle Kraken vs Toronto Maple Leafs
What happens when we mix the worst goaltending in the league against one of the most potent offenses? A lot of goals, that’s what. The Seattle Kraken have seen the totals go over on eight of their last 12 games and they visit the Toronto Maple Leafs, who score over 3.4 goals at home and lead the league in power-play percentage (33.3 percent).
Pick: Over 6½ (-105)
New York Rangers vs Minnesota Wild
The New York Rangers and Minnesota Wild spoil the goal-scoring party here thanks to Igor Shesterkin’s unbelievable play. The Rangers have allowed two goals or fewer in six of their last nine games. The Wild have allowed or scored at least three goals for 12 straight.
Pick: Under 6 (-110)
Ottawa Senators vs St. Louis Blues
The Ottawa Senators will occasionally give up a lot of goals, like they did against the Arizona Coyotes. But this team has been so anemic on offense that 15 of their last 20 games have gone under the total. The defensive-minded St. Louis Blues are also giving up just 2.7 goals a game, the sixth-best in the NHL.
Pick: Under 6 (-105)
Tampa Bay Lightning vs Winnipeg Jets
Goals are aplenty whenever the Tampa Bay Lightning and Winnipeg Jets meet. In their last 10 meetings, the total has averaged 7½ goals and has gone over eight times. Credit this to the Jets’ high-octane style of hockey. Nine of their last 11 games have seen at least one team score four goals.
Pick: Over 6 (-110)
Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators and Dallas Stars’ last 10 meetings have averaged just 5.1 goals in total. But Jason Robertson and Dallas have been on a roll. He’s recorded back-to-back hat tricks and Dallas has scored over four goals in four straight, while Nashville’s goaltending, save for last game, has been struggling.
Pick: Over 5½ (-115)
Anaheim Ducks vs Chicago Blackhawks
Seven of the Anaheim Ducks’ last 10 games have gone over. Thank their terrible defense and occasionally spectacular offense for this. The Chicago Blackhawks are no better as they have allowed opponents to score four or more goals in seven of their last 10 games.
Pick: Over 6 (Ev)
Washington Capitals vs Calgary Flames
The Calgary Flames have the NHL’s best offense since Feb. 1, averaging over 4.3 goals per game. On the flip side, they have also shut down teams in their building – allowing just 1.9 goals on average in their last 10. The Washington Capitals struggle to score in Western road trips as seven of their last 10 games have gone under.
Pick: Under 6 (-105)
And the Grand Salami is …
With us picking eight of the 11 games to go over, the result is obvious. We’re going over 67½ goals for this Tuesday’s NHL Grand Salami. Heck, this may be the highest-scoring day of the season for the NHL.
