4 Nations Face-Off Picks and Odds for February 20: Bet Canada (-110) to Beat Team USA

4 Nations Face-Off Prediction, Picks and Odds: Bet Canada (-110) to Beat Team USA February 20

Canada is a good bet in the virtual pick’em hockey betting lines to avenge last weekend’s loss to the United States when the rivals meet in the championship game of the 4 Nations Face-Off on Thursday night in Boston.

Team USA defeated Canada 3-1 on Saturday with two goals from Jake Guentzel and 25 saves from Connor Hellebuyck. Connor McDavid scored for the Canadians.

This game might be a little different. USA defenseman Charlie McAvoy has been ruled out and sharp-shooting Auston Matthews is questionable while forwards Brady Tkachuk and Vincent Trocheck were injured in Monday’s 2-1 loss to Sweden. Check late hockey injury news for player updates

Before you make your wager at BetUS Sportsbook, you must consider whether the injuries are more important than the United States’ edge in net.

Top 3 Canada vs United States Betting Picks: Moneyline, O/U and Player Prop Bet

1. Bet Revenge by Canada ML (-110)

Both teams are -110 on the moneyline, and that’s how it should be. Anything can happen in this 60-minute war for the crown if you bet online.

We don’t expect the fights that charged up the crowd at the beginning of Saturday’s game, but the energy and intensity should be there. The big question is how healthy will the Team USA lineup be at the drop of the puck.

The Americans have plenty of depth on defense, but would certainly miss Matthews, the captain, and the edgy Brady Tkachuk (two goals in the tournament). They are getting great contributions from Guentzel and Jack Eichel (four points each), but need more from J.T. Miller (zero).

Hellebuyck (.957 save percentage tournament) has the edge over Canada’s likely starter, Jordan Binnington (.892). But in a one-game scenario, goaltending may not be as big a factor in your 4 Nations best bets.

Bet Canada finds a way with two-time Stanley Cup-winning coach Jon Cooper at the helm.

Moneyline Pick: Canada (-110)

2. Bet Over 5 ½ goals (+110) in Emotional Final

If the Canadians can turn the tables, it means their top players are going to find the net.

Hellebuyck, the favorite for tournament MVP honors at +260 in NHL futures odds, is the best goalie in the tournament, but he is just 18-27 with a mediocre .910 save percentage in postseason play. The Winnipeg Jets netminder is beatable if the Canadians can get enough pressure on him.

Veteran Sidney Crosby shares the tournament lead with Team USA defenseman Zach Werenski at five points while McDavid has four and MacKinnon boasts three goals and a +4 rating. The Canadians have plenty of players who can step up in a big moment.

Binnington has won a Stanley Cup with St. Louis and is accustomed to coming up big in a huge game, but he will give up goals. Binnington has an .896 SP for the Blues this season.

Our hockey prediction is a 4-2 Canada victory.

O/U Pick: Over 5½ Goals

3. Point (+275), Marner (+400) Top Prop Bets

So, who wants to be a hero?

The big stars will make their presence known. MacKinnon, McDavid, Crosby and defenseman Cale Makar lead Canada while Guentzel (three goals, one assist), Eichel (four assists) and defenseman Zach Werenski (five assists) have had productive tournaments for Team USA.

Two players to watch for Canada are Brayden Point and Mitch Marner. Point has a goal and an assist while Marner has scored once and is -2. Point always scores big goals for Tampa Bay and Toronto’s Marner is fourth in the league with 71 points.

You will get pretty good odds on both, so our hockey player prop picks are for the two speedy Canadians to find some room to make an impact and cash your bets.

If you want to use a Team USA player in a parlay or straight, think about Kyle Connor. The Winnipeg forward is due to produce after managing one assist in three games and he has +500 betting odds to score.

Player Prop Picks: Brayden Point (+275) and Mitch Marner (+400) Anytime Goals
