Let’s check the latest NHL odds, stats, injury reports, and NHL lines for Avalanche vs Devils. We’ve plenty of NHL betting odds for you to consider.

Georgiev Starring In Net For The Avs

One of the big concerns for the Stanley Cup champs has been the loss of goaltender Darcy Kuemper. Many wondered how the team would adjust after letting him walk in free agency. So far, so good.

Alexander Georgiev is playing like he has something to prove. He’s 4-0-1 with a .921 save percentage and a 2.56 goals-against average.

That record is also the second-best in the NHL among goaltenders. He’s only allowed 13 goals total across 165 shots faced. When he’s in the net, this team looks incredible.

If you bet online, keep in mind that this is a different team when he’s not between the pipes. Pavel Francouz is 0-2-0 with a below-average .877 save percentage while allowing a whopping 4.10 goals against average.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Georgiev is looking like the X-factor for this team moving forward. Before you make your NHL picks, check to see who is on the net tonight.

Bratt Leads The Way For Devils

New Jersey’s offense is flowing and much of the credit should be directed toward Jesper Bratt. The winger leads the team in four major offensive statistical categories at this point in the season.

He has picked up 12 points, three goals, and nine assists while also leading the team in plus/minus at five. When he gets hot, the Devils look great.

However, it’s yet to be known if this type of production will be sustainable throughout the year.

While the team has shown promise up front, the same can’t be said for the back end. Mackenzie Blackwood is 3-2-0 with a .871 save percentage and 2.81 goals against average.

If the team opts to go with the backup, Vitek Vanecek, they will be getting a 1-1-0 record with a horrendous .833 save percentage.

Either way, it doesn’t sound great given that one of the league’s best offenses is coming to town.

Avalanche vs Devils Prediction

This is going to be an intriguing matchup between teams that look like they are heating up. When it comes down to betting in the sportsbook on a potential winner, the Avalanche might offer better value.

If they decide to start Georgiev, they get tremendous production on the defensive end and should give them a sizable edge.

New Jersey has some talented offensive players of their own, but it’s not compared to the players from Colorado such as Nathan MacKinnon, Valeri Nichushkin and Mikko Rantanen. Roll with the Avalanche to win this game.
