NHL Same Game Parlay Picks Today

The Dallas Stars are a slight home underdog in the NHL odds as they try to take the lead in the see-saw first-round series with the Colorado Avalanche on Monday.
Dallas lost Game 1 at home before winning the next two in overtime, and were blanked 4-0 in Game 4 on Saturday in Denver. Colorado is third lowest at +700 in the NHL futures odds to win the Stanley Cup. The Stars are ninth (+1200).
The Avalanche rebounded by posting 48 shots on goal in Saturday’s win. Nathan MacKinnon has four goals in the series to lead Colorado and may be your safest pick, but we will look for more value in our NHL prop bets today.

Leg 1: Stars ML (+120)
Colorado is the favorite for the fifth straight game in the series and it’s not a stretch to think the performance in Game 4 could be a turning point. However, Dallas is still waiting for goals from Wyatt Johnston, Mikko Rantanen and Matt Duchene and it’s now, or perhaps never. Gabriel Landeskog made his triumphant return for the Avs in Denver and injured All-Star defenseman Miro Heiskanen may be ready to return to give Dallas a boost. Check late NHL news for updates on his status. Take the Stars as a home dog.

Leg 2: Avalanche-Stars Over 6 goals (-110)
Under bettors have cashed in three of the four games and it would not be a surprise if Dallas’ Jake Oettinger and Colorado’s Mackenzie Blackwood shut the door for a 3-2 or 2-1 final. However, this is the biggest game of the series and we don’t think it will be a careful one. Johnston and Rantanen are overdue while Martin Necas and Cale Makar have yet to score for the Avalanche. We expect this to be one of those NHL matchups that produce a 4-3 or 5-3 final with everything on the line.

Leg 3: Colorado’s Lehkonen Anytime Goal (+250)
MacKinnon and Rantanen are the only players with odds under +200 to score. However, we search for a little more value and why not look at MacKinnon’s wings? Necas has just one assist and five shots in the series while Artturi Lehkonen boasts a goal, an assist and 12 shots. Lehkonen scored a career-high 27 goals this season and has 18 in his last 42 playoff games. That makes him a solid NHL player prop bet for your parlay.

Leg 4: Stars’ Hintz 3+ Shots On Goal (+165)
Dallas does not have their leading goal scorer and shot collector Jason Robertson due to injury, so they are even more balanced. Johnston and Rantanen can give you decent odds (+200) for a goal while Roope Hintz (one goal in series) and Tyler Seguin (two) are both at +250. While the odds may not be quite as good, we look at the shot chart for our safer bets. Rantanen is at +114 for 3+ shots on net, but our NHL prediction is with Hintz. Hintz leads the Stars with 13 in the series.
