Former Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen had three shots and a -2 rating in the first playoff game against his former team on Saturday and is bound to step up in Game 2 on the NHL schedule. Rantanen had five goals and 18 points in 20 games after being traded from Carolina. He is due to score and with his team’s season on the line, we expect the sharp-shooting Fin to pot one.
