Pastrnak Scoring in Bunches for Boston
David Pastrnak will try to pick up where he left off before the Christmas break when the NHL’s best Boston Bruins head North Tuesday to take on the Ottawa Senators.
The 26-year-old right wing has an 11-game point streak of 10 goals and five assists. Only two NHL players have more goals over the span than Pastrnak, who has six-point streaks of 10 or more games, which is tied for third in Bruins history.

As he continues to climb the Bruins’ all-time goals list – he recently tied the great Bobby Orr for 10th with his 264th marker – so does the price tag on his next contract.
“I’ve been shooting a lot,” Pastrnak, who became the sixth Bruin since 1982 to have 100 points in a calendar year, told the media. “Krech (linemate David Krejci), you know, he’s never going to shoot, so somebody has to do that. I’m just happy that it’s going in.”
The Senators have been a streaky team, having a pair of four-game winning streaks to their credit to go with losing streaks of seven and three games (twice).
They are amid three straight losses and haven’t played since Dec. 22 after their Dec. 23rd game with the Detroit Red Wings was postponed due to weather.
The Senators beat the Bruins 7-5 on Oct. 18 as they opened to a 3-0 lead and saw seven players score against Boston, which won 14 of its next 15 games.
Let’s check the latest NHL odds, stats, injury reports, and NHL lines for Bruins vs Senators. We’ve plenty of NHL betting odds for you to consider.
Hall Producing on Third Line for Bruins
Taylor Hall continues to improve as the season wears on, producing 1.09 points per game during December, up from .69 in November and .66 in October.
The former Hart Trophy winner has thrived since moving to the third line centered by Charlie Coyle, a move some would consider a demotion, but not him.
“I don’t see it as a demotion,” Hall, who was held pointless in the last two games against the Devils and Jets, the first time that has happened in a month, told the media. “Charlie Coyle, as a third-line center, that’s one of the best third-line centers in the league.”
Hall is on pace for his first 30-goal season since 2017-18 with the New Jersey Devils and a second straight 60-point season with the Bruins.
Batherson Man to Watch on Man Advantage
Right-wing Drake Batherson has scored in back-to-back games and has a point streak of 10 games (seven goals, seven assists) entering this contest for the Senators.
The 24-year-old has been a menace on the power play for the Senators, scoring nine of his 12 goals and registering eight of his 19 assists on the man advantage this season.
Of course, that means he has just three goals and 11 assists in better than 482 minutes 5-on-5 this season and is a -23 despite recording 30 points in 32 games.
Batherson is on pace for 30 goals and 47 assists for 77 points, each of which would shatter his career-highs of 17 goals, 27 assists, and 44 points.
