Canucks Hope to Slow Red-Hot Golden Knights
The Vancouver Canucks haven’t fared too well in their last couple outings. With an opportunity to make the playoffs this season, their season is falling apart.
They have lost their last three and nine of their last 12 overall. They hope to finally get back in the win column with a victory against the Vegas Golden Knights, but they’ll be without a key piece in Brock Boeser.
Vegas is on a tear, ripping off five straight victories, including three by three or more goals. Let’s take a closer NHL game betting preview and see which side is the best bet versus the NHL odds.
Let’s check the latest NHL lines, stats, injury reports, and NHL odds for Team A vs Team B. We’ve plenty of NHL picks and predictions.
Canucks Stalled
The Vancouver Canucks were sitting at 29-23-6 at the beginning of March. Since then, they have just three wins in their last 12 contests. Their losses have been a mix of horrid offense and flimsy defense.
This is a group that needs to play better all-around, but they’ll be without Boeser in this one. Also, if you bet online, note that Quinn Hughes is questionable.
Luckily, they have one of the best scorers in the league right now in J.T. Miller. He has been the staple of their offense, recording 82 points. The’s 29 higher than Hughes, who is second on the team.
Golden Knights Rolling
When a team is rolling as Vegas is right now, it’s a good idea to ride the Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup. Vegas started this run by crushing the Nashville Predators 6-1.
The Golden Knights posted a 5-4 overtime win over the Chicago Blackhawks followed by back-to-back wins over the expansion Seattle Kraken. Most recently, they took on the Canucks and knocked them off in overtime as well.
On the season, they may rank in the middle of the pack both offensively and defensively. However, considering Vancouver’s struggles, Vegas might be a good bet to continue its momentum.
Canucks vs Golden Knights Head-to-Head
The Canucks have played against the Golden Knights twice this season with two more games left to go. In both of their previous encounters, Vegas won.
Vancouver could still tie the season series with back-to-back wins down the stretch.

Canucks vs Golden Knights Prediction
This is going to be a battle of two teams heading in opposite directions. The Canucks are spiraling out of control and losing more games than they can keep track of.
Meanwhile, the Knights are on a tear after winning five straight and seven of their last nine. The switch to goaltender Logan Thompson in net has given the Golden Knights a shot in the arm.
He’s allowed just 17 goals in his last eight starts and if he keeps this up, the Knights will keep winning.
Pick: Vegas Golden Knights -165
