When Hart isn’t out there, though, they get much worse. Felix Sandstrom has taken over as their backup goalie and has started two games.

Rangers Suffer From Goaltending Depth
The Rangers suffer from the exact same problems as the Philadelphia Flyers. New York starting goaltender Igor Shesterkin has been great, but when he’s not starting, they have very limited and lackluster production.
Shesterkin is 5-0-2 with a 2.55 GAA and a .913 save percentage. Similar to last season, he’s been the glue on the back end that keeps this entire team moving forward.
In the games that he’s not starting, Jaroslav Halak gets the nod and he’s 0-3-0 with a 3.69 GAA and a horrendous .867 save percentage.
