The Vegas Golden Knights used every second of the last matchup to climb back in the series and are an underdog again in the NHL betting odds when they visit the Edmonton Oilers for Game 4 on Monday.

Edmonton tied Game 3 late with a fortunate deflection, but made multiple mistakes before Reilly Smith scored with 0.4 seconds to go for a 4-3 win. The Oilers still lead the series 2-1 and are +400 in the odds to win the Stanley Cup.

Vegas is alive and well after getting several big performances, especially after captain Mark Stone went down with an injury. William Karlsson, Tomas Hertl, Smith and Jack Eichel, among others, could be your best NHL prop bets today for the Golden Knights.

  • Leg 1: Vegas Golden Knights Moneyline (+110)

That shocking goal could be the springboard for the Golden Knights to find their top level. Vegas was actually the better team most of the night and were unlucky to be tied, but Karlsson made a great play to set up Smith. Stone is questionable for Game 4, so the Knights will hope for his return. However, Vegas has enough talent to get it done after finding the formula Saturday and that’s why it is our NHL pick.

  • Leg 2: Golden Knights vs Oilers Under 6.5 Goals (+115)

This one should be a safe bet for NHL parlay picks, even though Edmonton is leading the playoffs in scoring and Vegas put up four goals on Saturday. The under is 4-2-1 in the team’s seven matchups this season, and the push was on Saturday with a goal off a Vegas skate and Smith’s buzzer-beater. Stuart Skinner is 0-3 in the playoffs and is expected back in goal for the Oilers with Calvin Pickard (6-0) day to day. We think both teams play tight defensively.

Bet on Golden Knights vs Oilers Under 6.5 Goals (+115)

  • Leg 3: Tomas Hertl to Score 1+ Goals (+225)

Tomas Hertl had three goals and two assists in the first four games of the playoffs and no points in the past five. However, the big center registered six shots on goal in Game 3 and will need to step up, especially if Stone is sidelined. Hertl had 32 goals in the regular season and is overdue to notch his fourth of the postseason at good player prop odds.

Bet on Tomas Hertl to Score 1+ Goals (+225)

  • Leg 4: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins 1+ Assists (+150)

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was held to just 29 assists in 78 NHL games during the regular season, but he has produced six in the last six playoff contests. Nugent-Hopkins owns 50 assists in his postseason career and should be involved for the Oilers in Game 4. The Edmonton forward has posted an assist in four straight games, and it’s a good prop bet for him to extend that to five.

Bet on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins 1+ Assists (+150)
