Steven Stamkos Anytime Goalscorer (+160)
After being thoroughly outplayed, outmuscled and outshot in an embarrassing 7-0 defeat in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup finals, the Tampa Bay Lightning bounced back in a big way in Game 3.
Playing in their first home game of the series, the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions finally cracked the win column, beating the Avs 6-2 at Amelie Arena on Monday night. Steven Stamkos had a goal and an assist.
Stamkos scored his 10th goal and put up his seventh assist of the playoffs to improve to 17 points in the postseason. Importantly, it marked the first points of this series for the team captain.
Now that Stamkos has found his feet in this series, he’ll be motivated. Separately, the pressure will be greater if Nikita Kucherov, who left Monday’s game with an apparent injury, isn’t available or his play is hindered somewhat.
The John Cooper-Steve Kerr comparisons continue.

Ondrej Palat Anytime Goalscorer +240
After Kucherov, Ondrej Palat has been one of the most productive players for Tampa Bay. Palat had a goal and an assist in Game 3 to help lift his side the potentially series-saving win.
The unassuming Czech has 10 goals and nine assists for 19 points through 20 games in the postseason. He has two goals and an assist overall in this series and he’s put up points in five of his last six games.

Ondrej Palat Over ½ Points -140
For the most of the reasons mentioned above, Palat strikes an attractive pose in several other markets on the Stanley Cup odds board
One of which is the total points prop bet. Palat is tipped to go over ½ total points at -140. Since the Eastern Conference finals, Palat has put up 11 points in nine games. That’s more than a point per game.

Andrei Vasilevskiy Total Saves Over 32½
Andrei Vasilevskiy had a .916 save percentage during the regular season. The Russian netminder upped the ante in the postseason with a .920 save percentage. The Avalanche offense is one of the most potent in the league and NHL fans were treated to that offensive power in the first two games.
Vasilevskiy made 37 saves on 39 shots in Game 3 for a .949 save percentage – the highest tally so far in this series. In the first game of this series, he made 34 saves on 38 shots. Game 2 was the worst as the 27-year-old made only 23 saves on 30 shots.
Following Colorado’s loss in Game 3, it’s likely the Avalanche will raise the level and go after Vasilevskiy with a barrage of shots. If the Russian can maintain his composure, going OVER 32½ saves will be par for the course.
