Maple Leafs vs Panthers Free NHL Parlay Picks

Leg 1: Florida Panthers ML (-235)

The Leafs are toast. Maybe they will put up a better fight than that 6-1 embarrassment in Toronto on Wednesday night. But we cannot, in good conscience, recommend betting on Toronto. Hence, it’s Florida or pass for our NHL parlay pick this Friday. Florida is 8-2 in its last 10 close-out games if we exclude the Stanley Cup Final against Edmonton. Toronto is 3-8 when facing elimination.

One of Florida’s two losses did come to Toronto when they last met in 2023. Toronto has now been held to one total goal in the last two games. Leg 2: Maple Leafs vs Panthers Under 5.5 Goals (-105)

Florida will be a hot team to bet for NHL futures if it can clinch this series. The Panthers will do that if Sergei Bobrovsky can stay hot. The two-time Vezina Trophy winner has saved 55 of the 57 shots he’s faced. As such, the toal should go under as Toronto’s goalies can’t get worse than Game 5, right? If we’re parlaying the total, it’s to go under.

We are picking against Toronto but William Nylander is our NHL prop bet today. The Swede is one of the few Leafs who shows up when his team’s life is on the line. He’s recorded a point in four of the last six of Toronto’s elimination games. Parlay his point prop to go over as he’ll be one of Toronto’s few bright spots.
