- Sidney Crosby is among the player prop options on Friday.
- Take Colorado to extend its winning streak to four games.

Just five games are scheduled on Friday with the only one between teams with winning records taking place in Denver when the Washington Capitals visit the Colorado Avalanche. Things get started when the Columbus Blue Jackets seek to snap a six-game losing streak when they welcome Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins to town in a game airing on the NHL Network.

The NHL spread has Pittsburgh and Vegas listed as road favorites while Colorado and Calgary are among the home teams favored to win on Friday. The Colorado Avalanche (-150) are the heaviest favorites when looking at the NHL lines.
When looking at the NHL injury report, Anaheim forward Mason McTavish and Vegas forward are day to day. Columbus forward Kent Johnson is out.
Let’s look at my best NHL bets for Friday.
3 Ways to Bet on Friday Night’s NHL Games
1. Bet Colorado to Win Its Fourth in a Row
Not too long ago, the Washington Capitals won six times in a seven-game span against the Colorado Avalanche with three of those wins coming as the road team. The Avalanche flipped the script, winning the last four games while outscoring the Capitals 19-7.
Colorado is listed by the NHL odds as the home favorite in the first meeting of the season between the teams. Washington has been one of the most surprising teams in the early portion of the season with a 10-4-1 record with young forwards Connor McMichael and Aliaksei Protas emerging into point-per-game players. However, it is hard to pick a Colorado team that has won five of its last six games when listed by the sports betting odds as the home favorite.

Colorado could get forward Valeri Nichushkin back on the ice as his suspension is over.

2. Red Wings vs Ducks To Land Under
The rosters of the Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings are loaded with recent high draft picks. However, that hasn’t translated into on-ice success as the Red Wings are 7-7-1 and the Ducks are 5-8-2. Detroit and Anaheim are two of the four NHL teams averaging fewer than 2.5 goals per game.

The Ducks have the lowest number of games to land under the total while nine of the 15 games for Detroit also went under.
That is enough to go with this matchup to go under 6 goals when making NHL picks.

3. Pittsburgh’s Crosby, Colorado’s Rantanen Part of NHL Parlay Picks
Sidney Crosby hasn’t scored a goal in his last four games but had a season-high six shots on goal in Wednesday’s overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings. The first time Pittsburgh faced Columbus last season, Crosby had three goals and an assist. Don’t look for that much production again when making NHL picks but the +140 odds for Crosby to score a goal are pretty tempting.
Colorado’s Mikko Rantanen has six goals in his last three games, one shy of the NHL lead, as the Avalanche head into the Friday night showdown with Washington on a three-game winning streak. Take a look at the +120 odds for Rantanen to score again.
When Trevor Zegras had 61 and 65 points in his first two full NHL seasons, the former first-round pick was viewed as one of the NHL’s rising stars. The Anaheim forward hasn’t recorded a point in five straight games and in the last four, he was limited to one shot on goal. He is too talented for that to continue.
Go with Zegras at +108 to record at least one point against Detroit to cap the Nov. 15 NHL parlay.
