Betting NHL games can be tough and hitting on parlays is even harder. In another packed Saturday slate, we look to three favorites for a three-leg parlay that pays a hefty price. We’re not just grabbing the stiffest chalk we can find here. You won’t find lines at -200 or shorter. Instead, we seized the best lines for our NHL parlay on Dec. 2.
Hurricanes Dispatch Sabres
We say “nay” to the Carolina Hurricanes’ moneyline and will instead roll with their puck line at plus odds. The Hurricanes have been stellar since their awful start: 10-4-1 in their last 15 games. And they’ve allowed just under 2.7 goals during this span. That’s why most of their games, and 11 of the last 16, have gone under the total.
On this note, the Hurricanes should have no issues neutralizing the frisky Sabres. Buffalo has gone 2-2-1 in its last five games as underdogs. This team has been sharp and even outshot three of its last four opponents, but its goaltending is shaky at best.
Carolina is also a tough place to play. The Hurricanes are 7-2-1 here and allow a league-low 23.3 shots per game. Buffalo will have to outplay Carolina or hope its goaltending falls apart thoroughly. We don’t see either happening so we’re betting online that Carolina wins emphatically.
NHL Pick: Carolina Hurricanes -1½ (+110)
Coyotes Keep It Going Against Blues
Arizona just upset Colorado, Tampa Bay and Vegas all in a row. And heading back to Tempe, the Coyotes are just slight favorites against the St. Louis Blues. This is a revenge game for Arizona as its last loss came at the hands of St. Louis.

Arizona is 6-4 at home where it averages 3.7 goals per game and is +5 in goal differential. This is despite getting outshot and outchanced consistently. The Coyotes are getting both stellar netminding and goal-scoring: A whopping 12.8% shooting percentage on 5-on-5.
While this is unsustainable, the Blues are not the team to expose the Coyotes. They score the fewest road goals and give up over 32 shots a game. We’ll gladly make Arizona our NHL pick under these online sports betting odds.
NHL Pick: Arizona Coyotes (-130)
Golden Knights Mute the Capitals
Speaking of revenge, Vegas can stick it to the team that beat them in the Stanley Cup Final the first time. Washington has been on a roll, winning seven of its last nine games. But its last four wins have come by one goal each. And when the Capitals beat Vegas, the Knights were the better team. Charlie Lindgren has just been incredible in net.
The career backup has been on a tear with a 93.4% save percentage and a 5-2-0 record in seven starts. His +7.4 goals saved above average are in the top six. How hot can he stay? We’re going to bet that he can’t stop a Knights team that just dominated Vancouver.
Vegas has been on and off this season but it is 8-2-1 at home with a +16 goal differential. It blew out Colorado 7-0 and is 3-2 in its last five puck lines. The Caps average over 3.1 goals per road game, but we’ll take Vegas and the 1.8 goals it allows. The Knights will make a statement and beat Washington by 2+ goals. Bet the puck line on the NHL odds.
NHL Pick: Vegas Golden Knights -1½ (+115)
