The Pacific Division champion Vegas Golden Knights are a strong pick as a favorite in the NHL betting odds against the Edmonton Oilers for Game 1 of their Western Conference semifinal series on Tuesday.

The Golden Knights won the last three games by one goal each to turn back Minnesota in the first round and are currently +650 in the NHL championship odds. Vegas split four games with the Oilers in the regular season.

Edmonton dropped its first two games of the playoffs in Los Angeles, but scored 20 times to sweep the next four games. The Oilers received at least three goals from four players in the first round, and offer plenty of options for your NHL props today.

Oilers vs Golden Knights Free NHL Parlay Picks

  • Leg 1: Golden Knights -1½ goals (+192)

Edmonton certainly turned it around after losing the first two games of the playoffs and has a lethal offense with Connor McDavid and Hart Trophy finalist Leon Draisaitl leading the way. However, Vegas had the third-best defense in the regular season (2.61 goals against) and goalie Adin Hill helped the Golden Knights win a Cup in 2023. The value is there, even if you need an empty-net goal to seal our NHL prediction.

Bet on Golden Knights -1½ goals

  • Leg 2: Oilers vs Golden Knights Over 6 Goals (-120)

It’s difficult to figure whether the teams will be conservative and tight in Game 1 or it will be open and settle down later in the series. Check the NHL news for any injury updates, but we think there is enough offensive talent here for a 5-2, 5-3 game to start the series. Tomas Hertl and Brett Howden led Vegas with three goals each versus the Wild and defenseman Evan Bouchard scored four for the Oilers. Edmonton goalie Calvin Pickard is gritty, but we think Vegas gets to him.

Bet on Oilers vs Golden Knights Over 6 goals

  • Leg 3: Mark Stone Anytime Goal (+225)

Veteran Mark Stone scored all of his points (two goals, two assists) in the last three games of the series against Minnesota for Vegas. He had 11 shots in those contests after managing five in the first three. Stone boasts eight goals in 20 career regular-season games versus the Oilers and scored twice in the playoff series between the two in 2023. Use the dependable forward, who plays with dynamic center Jack Eichel, in your NHL prop picks.

Bet on Mark Stone Anytime Goal

  • Leg 4: Leon Draisaitl 4+ shots on goal (+122)

Los Angeles did a decent job limiting Draisaitl’s shooting lanes and Vegas will try to do the same, but the big German will find a way. He finished with 18 shots and three goals in that series after scoring 52 times on 240 shots in 71 regular-season outings. If you want to be a little less aggressive to cap your NHL parlay pick, go with 3+ shots (-186), but we think Draisaitl will get his chances.

Bet on Leon Draisaitl 4+ Shots on goal
