Oilers vs Golden Knights Same Game Parlay Picks, Thursday, 5/8

The Pacific Division champion Vegas Golden Knights are a slight favorite, which could make the visiting Edmonton Oilers one of the best NHL bets today as they attempt to take a 2-0 lead in the second-round playoff series on Thursday.

The Oilers shook off two early goals by Mark Stone on Tuesday and rallied for a 4-2 victory in Game 1. Edmonton boasts five straight comeback wins after dropping the first two games of the playoffs and is +400 in the NHL Championship odds – the lowest among Western teams.

Vegas was without top defenseman Alex Pietrangelo (illness) and top goal scorer Pavel Dorofeyev (undisclosed) in Game 1, so check the lineups on game day. Stone and linemate Jack Eichel are still probably your best NHL prop bets today for the Golden Knights.

Under bettors have cashed in four of the five games between the two teams this season, and we think they can go to the pay window again. Fresh off a Game 1 win, you have to expect the Oilers to be loose and use their speed to create chances.
