The Dallas Stars have won six of seven on home ice in the playoffs and look to continue that trend as a favorite in the NHL odds when they host the Edmonton Oilers for Game 1 of the Western Conference finals on Wednesday.
Dallas won all three home games against Winnipeg to end that series in six and are +285 in the NHL futures to win the Stanley Cup – just slightly behind favorite Edmonton (+245). Mikko Rantanen of the Stars leads the league with 19 points in the playoffs.
Edmonton has won eight of its last nine games since losing the first two of the playoffs at Los Angeles. The Oilers are led by superstar talents Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, but they have several players worthy of NHL prop bets.
