Panthers Favored on Road
The Florida Panthers go into Tuesday’s contest with the Boston Bruins as the firm favorites on the NHL odds board at BetUS, despite coming off a loss. It was their first loss in 14 games. The Bruins, by contrast, are riding a two-game winning streak in this high-profile showdown with the league’s best team.
Panthers Suffer Fist Loss in April
The Florida Panthers reeled off an incredible 13-game winning steak to emerge as the best team in the league, overtaking the Colorado Avalanche in the standings after the Western Conference stalwarts led the league for the better part of the season.
Three games remain on the schedule as the Panthers look to clinch the franchise’s first-ever Presidents’ Trophy. Florida boasts a 57-16-6 record through 79 games and 120 points, putting them four points ahead of Colorado in the race for the coveted NHL honor.
In the last ten games, the Panthers are 9-1-0 after suffering their first loss in April. Florida lost to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a 12-goal thriller on Sunday night. The two-time defending Stanley Cup champions steamrolled the Panthers 8-4 at home.

Bruins Seek Third Straight Win
The Boston Bruins are playoff-bound after clinching one of the two wild card spots available in the Eastern Conference. The Bruins are fourth in the Atlantic Division with a 49-25-5 record through 79 games. Only three games are left on their schedule before they embark on their postseason campaign.
The Bruins have won two in a row, beating the New York Rangers (3-1) and the Montreal Canadiens (5-3). Their latest victory was the fourth in the last five games as the Bruins improved to a modest 5-5-0 record.

It’s the final week of the season and with the business of clinching out of the way for the Bruins, the motivation to win games is somewhat nullified. That said, the Bruins will be keen to stay in shape and focused for the postseason.
Panthers vs Bruins Head-to-Head
The Florida Panthers have a 5-3-2 record over the Boston Bruins, who in turn sport a 5-4-1 record during the same 10-game span. The total has gone 3-5-2.
The Bruins owned the last victory, having beaten the Panthers 3-2 in a shootout at home on October 31, 2021. The Panthers won the first meeting 4-1 on October 27 at home. This is the third meeting between these two rivals.

Panthers vs Bruins Prediction
The Florida Panthers still have everything to play for as they look to clinch a franchise first Presidents’ Trophy. They have a four-point lead over the Colorado Avalanche in the race and a win over the Boston Bruins would put them into a strong position.
The Boston Bruins, by contrast, have done the hard part and qualified for the postseason with a week left on the regular season. For the hosts, this is an opportunity to rest up and prepare for a postseason campaign that will be challenging, to say the least.
Given the many contrasts that face these division rivals, it’s no surprise that the Panthers are favored across betting online markets. This doesn’t mean the Bruins will roll over. On the contrary, they might be motivated to play spoilers and as home underdogs, they offer value for NHL picks.
Should the Panthers get off to a hot start, it’s hard to imagine the Bruins going all out to chase the victory. One can safely expect the Panthers will go all out to collect maximum points here, thus, the best bet would appear to be Florida on the moneyline.
