Saturday NHL Parlay: Plenty of Matchups Could Land Over Total
After three games were played on Friday, the action picks up on Saturday with 13 games with eight featuring matchups of teams coming in with winning records.
When looking at the NHL picks, each of the games on Friday had at least seven goals scored and that is something to consider heading into a huge night of hockey.

Two of the games featuring 6-goal totals according to the BetUS sportsbook have caught our attention as we look for the best options for a three-game parlay.
While much of the attention is focused on the teams sitting at the top of the four NHL divisions, why not give some love to the cellar-dwelling Columbus Blue Jackets and Chicago Blackhawks heading into their matchup? Even if Columbus is still without rookie Adam Fantilli, Chicago is happy to have Connor Bedard back.
Just 7 of the 13 games on Saturday have totals of 6½ so that is something to consider when looking at the NHL games tonight.
With Edmonton (+800), Colorado (+850), Boston (+900), and Dallas (+1100) in action, four of the five teams listed by the NHL futures odds with the best odds of winning the Stanley Cup will be on the ice on Saturday.
When it comes to NHL picks and parlays, here are three options to consider heading into Saturday”s action.
St. Louis Blues (+105) to Beat the Visiting Minnesota Wild
St. Louis probably deserved a better fate than picking up one out of a possible four points in back-to-back games against Winnipeg and Edmonton.
Just one point separates the Blues and Wild in the standings entering tonight’s important game. #stlblues

The Blues should be fired up to return home after a challenging three-game road trip. St. Louis is six games over .500 on home ice while favored Minnesota is 14-14-2 on the road.
The Wild allowed six straight goals after taking the early lead against Nashville in their last game and the Blues are looking like the best option at +105 to win outright even if Minnesota has won each of its last four games when listed as the favorite on the road.
Penguins-Flames Game to Go Over 6 Goals (-110)
Look for the Penguins to bounce back after being shut out on the road against Seattle despite outshooting the Kraken 33-28.
The last time that Pittsburgh was held without a goal, Pittsburgh rebounded with a 4-3 win over Minnesota.
Calgary comes into this game on a four-game winning streak with 19 goals scored in those victories against Winnipeg, Boston, Edmonton, and Los Angeles
There are still some concerning defensive issues for Calgary as the Flames have allowed an average of 3.6 goals over their last five home games and the Flames just traded reliable defenseman Chris Tanev so look for this game to go over the Las Vegas odds total. It is also worth noting that Calgary is 10th in the NHL in terms of the number of home games landing over the total.
Blackhawks-Blue Jackets to Go Over 6 Goals (-120)
The last-place teams in the Metropolitan and Central Division will get together.
It isn’t hard to figure out why the Blue Jackets and Blackhawks are two of the worst teams in the NHL.
Only the San Jose Sharks have allowed more goals than Columbus and the Sharks are the only team with a worse goal differential than the Blackhawks. Keep that in mind when making hockey bets today.
Even with some key players missing for both teams, look for some of the young players to thrive against teams struggling to take care of business in their end of the ice.

Questions of the Day
Which games on Saturday have the lowest over/under total?
The Winnipeg Jets-Carolina Hurricanes and Boston Bruins-New York Islanders both have 5½ goal totals.
What is the best player prop to consider for Saturday's NHL slate?
Wyatt Johnston and Matt Duchene were tied for the team lead with 11 points in the month of February for the Dallas Stars. With Dallas playing a San Jose Sharks team that has allowed the most goals in the NHL, look at Johnston’s +375 odds to have at least two points and Duchene at +300 to have a multi-point game.
