Soar to Victory: Rangers, Caps Lead Monster NHL Parlay
The Eastern Conference playoff race is probably where the best NHL bets today lie on an eight-game league schedule.

Four of the five teams battling for the last two postseason spots in the East are in action on Monday – two of them against teams out of playoff contention and two against teams that have clinched.
The Detroit Red Wings might be your best option to anchor your NHL parlay after an inspiring 5-4 overtime win at Toronto on Saturday. The Red Wings play back-to-back with the Montreal Canadiens, starting with a home game on Monday. The Habs have lost five of six (1-3-2).
The Washington Capitals host the Atlantic Division-leading Boston Bruins, the Pittsburgh Penguins host the Nashville Predators and the New York Islanders visit the New Jersey Devils with playoff spots on the line.
The Los Angeles Kings have a one-point lead on Vegas for third place in the Pacific Division race as they host the Minnesota Wild in a game where the over could be a sneaky good bet online.
Wings Ready To Fly – Red Wings – 1½ (+120)
Detroit is 3-2-2 in its last seven games and has a good chance for the second wild-card spot in the East if it wins the final two games.
The Red Wings showed they may have what it takes as Dylan Larkin scored on the power play in overtime to beat the Maple Leafs on Saturday. Detroit coughed up a 4-1 lead but hung in to get the important victory.
Five of the last seven meetings have ended after regulation, including Dec. 2 when the Red Wings earned a 5-4 overtime triumph. Detroit is 22-13-5 at home this season, despite losing two of its last three at Little Caesars Arena.
Start with the Red Wings when you go to the sportsbook for your four-team parlay.
Caps Have Shelf Life – Capitals ML (+135)
The Capitals have recorded at least a point in both matchups with the Bruins this season and we expect they are primed to get perhaps the biggest win on Monday as an underdog in the NHL latest line.
Washington won 3-0 at Boston on Feb. 10 and lost 3-2 in a shootout at home on March 30. Defenseman John Carlson scored in the matchup last month and had the winning goal in the 4-2 win over Tampa Bay on Saturday for Washington, which has the inside track to the final playoff spot.

The Bruins can clinch the division with a point in the game, so they have something to play for But the Capitals seem to be on a mission, and we think they are worth a bet.
Expect Goals on the Bay – Lightning, Sabres Over 6 (-105)
There is nothing to play for but pride in this one at Amalie Arena as the disappointing Buffalo Sabres visit the playoff-bound Tampa Bay Lightning in a game that could open up.
The Sabres (38-37-6) were expected by many to be preparing for the playoffs at this time, but they got off to a rough start and never found a consistent rhythm. Buffalo’s offense has been up and down, but it should be free-flowing in this game as it tries to finish over .500
The Lightning don’t have anything to play for as a team, but their individuals do. Nikita Kucherov is trying to seal a scoring title with 141 points – three more than Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon. Captain Steven Stamkos is also one away from his seventh 40-goal season.
Rangers Aim To Clinch – Rangers -1½ (+105)
After Carolina’s win over Chicago on Sunday, the New York Rangers need a victory to clinch home ice and win the Presidents’ Trophy.
We can expect to see a solid effort from the Rangers as they try to celebrate in front of the home fans against the Ottawa Senators in the regular-season finale on Monday..
New York is 14-5-0 in its last 19 games to push its total to 112 points – the most in the NHL. Rangers forward Artemi Panarin also needs two goals to reach 50 for the first time in his career.
Ottawa won’t be an easy target for your sports betting as it has won in its last two trips to Madison Square Garden. The Senators have also won three of their last four, but the Rangers should get it done.
