Game 6 Is A Must-Win Game
The Tampa Bay Lightning underscored their championship credentials in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, staving off certain defeat with a 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center on Friday night.
But it’s not a job done yet. The two-time defending champions merely closed the gap on the Avs, moving to within a game of knotting this series 3-3. They get to live for another day and do it all over again.
So, it’s a must-win Game 6 at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Sunday night all around. For the Lightning, it’s a must-win if they want to keep their Stanley Cup hopes alive and force a deciding Game 7.

Ondrej Palat delivered Tampa Bay’s game-winning goal in the third period, helping the Lightning to the 3-2 victory that salvaged their postseason bid. Palat has 11 goals and 9 assists in the playoffs.
As a stalwart on the top line, the left-winger is going to be in a position to deliver again. Thus, he’s a good bet to consider for your NHL picks to go Over ½ assist in this game. Heck, he’s even worth a tickle to score an anytime goal at +240.
Cale Makar Over ½ Total Assists at -140
