Maple Leafs vs Canadiens ATS Pick: Maple Leafs -1½ (-200)

Montreal is one of two Eastern Conference teams with a losing record at home this season. It won’t be easy to add to that win total as the Canadiens wrap up a five-game homestand against teams currently holding down Eastern Conference playoff spots.

Toronto is 8-3 in its last 11 games while Montreal is 4-2 in its last six games. The Canadiens have won three of the last 15 games against Eastern Conference teams.

Defenseman Timothy Liljegren is questionable for Toronto while forward Calle Jarnkrok, defensemen John Klingberg, Joel Edmundson, and goalie Matt Murray are out.

Defenseman Kaiden Guhle is questionable for Montreal while forwards Kirby Dach, Christian Dvorak, Raphael Harvey-Pinard, and Joshua Roy are out.

Maple Leafs vs Canadiens Over/Under Pick: Over 6½ (-105)

Toronto could have first-line winger Mitchell Marner back after missing the last 12 games. Even without Marner, Toronto is third in the NHL with an average of 4 goals per game during those 12 games.

The total went under in six of the Maple Leafs’ last seven games against Atlantic Division teams. That is something to consider for NHL over/under predictions.

Maple Leafs vs Canadiens Prop Pick: Toronto’s Auston Matthews 2+ Points (+139)

Matthews looks to extend his points streak to 10 games as his next point will give the NHL’s leading goal scorer his second career 100-point season. It has been an interesting season for Matthews against Montreal. He had three goals in a season-opening win but failed to record a point the last time the teams met. Expect to see Matthews back on the scoresheet when making your player prop bets.
