The 2021 Road to the Kentucky Oaks  is a points system where Thoroughbred fillies will be eligible for the 2021 Kentucky Oaks Odds. The field for the Kentucky Oaks, the filly equal of this Kentucky Derby, is limited to 14 horses, with around four “eligible” horses in the event of a late withdrawal.

These prep races are divided into two groups — the Kentucky Oaks Prep Season along with Kentucky Oaks Championship Series. The Prep Season runs through February 10, devoting points onto a 10-4-2-1. The sole exception is that the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies that awards 20-8-4-2.

The Championship Series starts in February and retains seven races around the Championship Series program offering 50-20-10-5 points; six additional races, which are called the last form of major training races, award 100-40-20-10; and 2 outliers will be the Bourbonette Oaks in 20-8-4-2 along with the Beaumont’s 10-4-2-1.
