Man City Huge Favorite to Retain the Title

For the third time in a row, Manchester City won the Premier League title in 2023. Last year, they finished five points above Arsenal with 94 goals scored and 33 conceded. Arsenal Second Favorites

Arsenal enjoyed a superb 2022/23 season but unfortunately fell short when it mattered most. Liverpool Third Favorites

Despite a much-improved run-in, the Reds still failed to finish in the top four last season, which was a big disappointment. Liverpool is priced at +800, having won the 2019/20 title to break up Guardiola’s dominance. They will be without Champions League football for the first time since 2015 after finishing fifth so they can focus on the domestic league games.

They have already signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai from Brighton and RB Leipzig respectively but Jurgen Klopp will not stop with the recruitment. He will surely add some more top players as he will be eager to win another title. If you’re betting online, backing Liverpool should be the way to go.

Chelsea Must Adapt Under Mauricio Pochettino

Chelsea needs Mauricio Pochettino to work out. Sure there are questions about the atmosphere in the dressing room but Pochettino’s going to have the rule of the roost from the first moment of preseason and he’ll have had lots of time to anticipate squad needs.

Chelsea’s owners are happy to keep spending with French forward Christopher Nkunku joining from RB Leipzig and Nicolas Jackson joining from Villarreal. What’s next for the upcoming 2023-24 EPL season?

The 2023-24 English Premier League season will kick off on August 11th, 2023. The first fixture will feature Crystal Palace hosting Arsenal at Selhurst Park.

The EPL season will include a break from November 13th through December 25th for the 2023 FIFA World Cup.

How does the EPL transfer window work?

Once the club season comes to an end, managers are allowed to sign new players and sell players, usually, based on the squad requirements managers observed in the previous season. In football, this process is referred to as the “transfer window”. 

During summer, the main transfer window takes place and opens for two months and a half. The Premier League deadline is September 1st, 2023. 

In addition to the summer transfer window, there is a winter window as well which runs through January. The Premier League will close the winter transfer window on January 31st, as usual.
