Flop Era✨

Hawk Tuah girl, aka Hailey Welch, aka the woman who went viral for describing, in vivid Tennessee twang, how to spit on a man mid-blowjob, has returned. And she’s doing what all micro-meme celebrities do when they emerge from scandal: sitting at a poker table in Las Vegas surrounded by other micro-celebrities.

She placed fifth at the Celebrity Poker Tour’s Game Night VI, which sounds like an AI-generated title but is, in fact, real casino news. She beat out chess streamer Alexandra Botez, NFL legend Adrian Peterson, and Zach Justice (a man I had to Google three separate times).

First Public Appearance Since the Crypto Disaster

Welch has been off the grid since her $HAWK crypto coin cratered harder than my faith in humanity after every Gen X man I know declared the Hawk Tuah meme the funniest thing they’d ever seen. If you missed it: she and her team launched a meme coin last year that plummeted from $490 million to $25 million faster than you can say “pump and dump” or “Hawk Tuah.”

The SEC investigated. Welch cried on live. Her podcast went dark. She became a full-time dog mom. Honestly? We love a dog mom, so we’re not complaining.

Now she’s rebranding—and apparently part of that includes learning how to choke out Adrian Peterson. During the poker game, UFC fighter Mackenzie Dern gave her an impromptu jiu-jitsu lesson after Welch playfully tried to tap him out. It was giving “I can’t face any more legal trouble so I’m not actually going to try.” Respect.

Whatever the case, hopefully, she has a better grasp of gambling regulations than she did crypto ones. But we’re not mad. Everyone’s gotta find their niche, and maybe since hers clearly wasn’t crypto, she’ll land on a lucrative poker career.

While most of us won’t go viral for being raunchy in Nashville and end up in a poker game with Jose Canseco, you can always play for real money at the online casino. No spit, no choke outs, just vibes—and hopefully a stronger portfolio than $HAWK.
