How ChatGPT Helped Denny Hamlin Win Vegas Jackpot
ChatGPT Told Him to Play the Buffalo Slot, and Now He’s Up $330K

Hamlin x ChatGPT Collab
Denny Hamlin made casino news headlines earlier this week for winning an eye-watering $330,000 in a Las Vegas casino—and no, not by dominating the poker games or counting cards like a math prodigy in a hoodie. He did it the old-fashioned way: by asking ChatGPT which slot machine to play.

Hamlin, who’s not exactly a seasoned slots pro, casually turned a few bucks into a six-figure payday over the course of a single weekend. On his Actions Detrimental podcast, the NASCAR driver spilled all the juicy details, revealing that he walked into the casino with $11,000, a dream, and an AI chatbot, and walked out $86,000 richer.

Hamlin Hits Jackpot with a Little Help from AI
“First of all, I looked on ChatGPT,” Hamlin said. “I say, ‘If I win on one Buffalo machine, does it hurt my odds of winning on another?’ Like, ‘Does the Buffalo game algorithm—does one hit take away from all?’ And it says, ‘No, they’re all independent.’”
And let’s be clear—Hamlin didn’t just win once. It all started Friday night when he hit the jackpot for a cool $126,000. The next night, he rolled back in like a man on a mission (or a man with extremely good slot machine karma), and hit another big win to the tune of $86,000. He even joked, “I put a quarter in, I win a car. I put a quarter in, I win a car.” If that’s not divine intervention or algorithmic witchcraft, we don’t know what is.

And yet, while Denny was cashing out at the machines, his performance on the NASCAR schedule that weekend was a little… less shiny. He finished 25th in the Cup Series race on Sunday. But hey—who needs trophies when you’ve got cash casinos literally handing you jackpots?
Not everything was a win, though. Hamlin admitted his luck didn’t translate to the blackjack table. That’s okay, Denny. Vegas giveth and Vegas taketh away. But what it did give him was one hell of a story and a very public endorsement of AI.
So to recap: race car driver consults robot, wins major coin, breaks the internet. So, go forth and gamble, my friends. There’s enough luck to go around and thankfully, you don’t have to go all the way to the Las Vegas Strip to make it happen. Check out our online casino to get started!
And while we can’t technically recommend using ChatGPT as your slot whisperer (seriously, don’t gamble with your rent money just because Chatty tells you to), we can say this: Denny Hamlin might be a NASCAR legend but after this weekend? He’s also living proof that sometimes, you just need a little data… and a lot of luck.
