These Are the Largest Casinos in the World
Mega Casinos That Make Vegas Look Small

Vegas Who?
When it comes to casinos, does size really matter? We’re not entirely sure, but is that stopping us from ranking the top five largest casinos in the world? Absolutely not. So, let’s dive into the biggest and most absurd gambling palaces on Earth. (And if you’re not a huge consumer of casino news, the number one spot will shock you.)
5. Ponte 16, Macao, China
So, you believed the U.S. was the top dog in the casino scene? Time to reconsider. China is in the game with serious stakes—literally. Ponte 16 is located right in the heart of Macao’s historic center (which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because who wouldn’t want a bit of culture with their casino experience?).
112 years of being a colony of Portugal.
And then returned to China 25 years ago.
Now, Macau is like Las Vegas ofAsia — with a lot of familiar casinos like MGM & Wynn.

Boasting 270,000 square feet of gaming area, 320 slot machines, and 150 gaming tables, this venue combines dazzling style, elegance, and a touch of Portuguese colonial architecture. It’s basically Vegas, but with better food and fewer bachelorette parties gone wrong.
4. Foxwoods, Ledyard, Connecticut, USA
Can someone tell me why teeny tiny Connecticut, the third smallest state in the US, decided to house the fourth-largest casino in the world? Foxwoods is an absolute behemoth with 340,000 square feet of room for all your gambling desires.

We’re talking 7,000 slot machines, 400 tables, and an upcoming Martha Stewart restaurant because, obviously, Martha knows a thing or two about high-stakes living. There’s also a spa and a two-story arcade. Honestly, sign me up.
3. City of Dreams, Macao, China
Back to Macao, because they do not mess around when it comes to casino games. City of Dreams has 1,350 gaming machines, 520 poker tables, and 1,400 hotel rooms filled with people who either won big or lost their dignity at the blackjack table.

The interior is giving 1970s discotheque meets luxury EDM club, and there are free shows constantly happening. Sounds like Vegas but somehow even more intense.
2. Venetian Macao, Macao, China
Shocking no one at this point, Macao takes another top spot with the Venetian Macao, the second-largest casino in the world. The property is a casual 546,000 square feet with 3,000 gaming machines, 870 table games, and three entire shopping malls for those who love a little retail therapy.

They even have gondola rides, because there’s nothing like visiting Italy while you’re in China. The hotel has 3,000 rooms, so if you’re ever throwing a massive party for some reason, this is the place to stay. It’s excess at its finest.
1. WinStar World Casino, Oklahoma, USA
You’re telling me the biggest casino in the world isn’t in Vegas, but in… Oklahoma? Well, color me shocked. WinStar World Casino sits in Thackerville (yes, that’s a real place and you must say with a Southern drawl), with over 600,000 square feet of pure gambling insanity.

Originally opened in 2003 and expanded in 2013, this place isn’t just a casino—it’s an entertainment hub, a luxury hotel, and an overall flex for Oklahoma. Never thought I’d say this, but maybe Oklahoma is worth a trip? (No offense Oklahomans. I just wasn’t familiar with your game.)
Well, folks, there you have it. Vegas needs to step up its game because there’s not a single Sin City location on this list. If that’s not a plot twist worthy of a Martin Scorsese film, I don’t know what is. Whether you prefer online casino games or want to play for real money in person, just know that the world’s biggest gambling empires are ready and waiting for you!
