According to many online outlets, all is not well with the Obamas, and although they are merely rumors, we love having a bet on the livelihoods of past and present American presidents.

2 Top Politics Picks

1. The Obamas to Divorce

We are making this bet purely on speculation, and at the moment, the recent political news should be treated as nothing but gossip. However, as we often see in the political world, where there’s smoke, there’s fire.

Michelle Obama has been strangely quiet and absent from many political events, including the recent funeral for Jimmy Carter. That was an odd omission for the former First Lady and it got the rumor mill working in full steam.

According to sources, namely Meghan McCain, the Obamas have been living separately, which makes sense as to why Michelle has missed some events. There is another rumor suggesting Barack hasn’t been entirely faithful, with Jennifer Aniston’s name being thrown into the arena.

Now, make of that what you will, but it makes for entertaining reading. Get the popcorn out because the Republican commentators will have a field day with this news.

For betting sake, we’re taking the -190 with the latest political odds for the Obamas to divorce before the Trumps. We can’t see the Trumps divorcing whilst Donald is in power, so they have four years up their sleeves.

Pick: The Obama’s to Divorce (-190)

2. Panama Canal to Come Under US Control in 2025

Bettors get +300 for the Panama Canal to come under United States control this year, and those odds can’t be overlooked.

Trump has made it clear what he wants and he wants to leave a lasting impression. Securing the rights to the Panama Canal would certainly do that, and the odds at our BetUS sportsbook make it worth a wager.

“American ships are being severely overcharged and not treated fairly in any way, shape or form and that includes the United States Navy,” Trump claimed.

“And above all, China is operating the Panama Canal and we didn’t give it to China, we gave it to Panama, and we’re taking it back.”

We’re not sure if Trump is being factually accurate – no surprises there – but he’s looking to make a statement and we wouldn’t be surprised to see him attempt to take the Panama Canal.

Pick: Panama Canal to Come Under US Control in 2025 (+300)
