Why Bet On Kamala Harris To Win the 2024 Election
- We look at why Kamala Harris could win the 2024 Presidential Election.
- The Democratic nominee is a +175 chance to win at the BetUS sportsbook.
- We have an update on the latest Harris vs Trump betting odds.
Despite the latest politics betting odds suggesting otherwise, Kamala Harris still has a chance to win the 2024 US presidential election.

The key to success for Harris is winning the swing states with a high number of electoral college votes. She needs to win the likes of Pennsylvania and Michigan, and if she does, bettors get great odds for her to win the presidency.
Why Bet On Kamala Harris To Overcome The Odds
Winning Pennsylvania
According to the latest polling data, Harris once had a 1.9% lead in Pennsylvania, but she now trails Donald Trump by a narrow margin.
Despite being behind in the key swing state, there is still a chance she wins, which would be massive for her Presidential hopes. If Harris loses Pennsylvania, she all but loses the 2024 election.
Momentum is with Trump, but as we saw in 2020, polls aren’t always accurate. Harris has a great chance of winning the state and she knows how important it is.
“We’re going to do it,” Harris said. “Victory runs through Philly and it runs through Pennsylvania.
“To all the friends here, I say, let’s be intentional about building community. Let’s be intentional about building coalitions. Let’s be intentional about understanding we all have so much more in common than what separates us.”
Bettors get +130 for Harris to win Pennsylvania with electoral college odds, so it’s a tight race. We thought the odds would be a touch closer, so there is good value with backing Harris to win.
If Harris wins Pennsylvania, expect her Presidential odds to firm considerably with live election betting markets.
Recent Rhetoric Favors Harris
Regardless of how strong your funny bone is, Tony Hinchcliffe’s set at the Trump rally on Sunday hasn’t painted the Republicans in a good light just days away from the election.
Hinchcliffe, a famous comedian and host of the podcast KillTony, has always pushed the boundaries between funny and offensive, but with his latest unfunny set, he could have given the momentum back to Harris.
Strangely, it had the opposite effect on the odds with our BetUS sportsbook, with Harris moving from +165 to +175 on the back of that rally. However, Hinchcliffe re-ignited the somewhat dangerous rhetoric from the right, and that could give Harris the advantage in the election.
Insults and misrepresentations have been thrown from both sides, which is very undemocratic as a whole. However, Harris has come out looking much better, and unlike former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, who lost to Trump, she’s more likeable.
Voters can relate more to Harris than Clinton, and if Trump hasn’t done enough to get voters back on his side after losing in 2020, his rhetoric could sway voters to lean left at the voting booths.
Harris Leads Popular Vote
There is cause for concern with the popular vote numbers, but Harris still leads Trump and the popular vote can’t be overlooked.
Trump may have defied losing the popular vote and winning the election in 2016, but it certainly helps to win the popular vote. Harris just needs to win the popular vote in the states that matter.
Despite President odds not giving her much chance, there is confidence with some political experts around the world, including former Conservative MP and British Minister Rory Stewart.
“I remain confident that Kamala Harris is going to win and win by a comfortable margin,” Stewart said.
“And as I think I’ve said to you before, I believe this because I think what’s happened is the polling agencies are panicked, and it’s not surprising they’re all hovering around 50-50.”
The election could go the same way as 2020. Trump was ahead with betting markets and he was ahead in the live vote. However, after all the votes were counted, it was Joe Biden winning and defying the online betting odds.
A similar fate could be on the cards for Harris, who is trending negatively in the polls but is still well in the hunt to become the next US President.
