NRL Round 25
Crucial Game for Sharks
The Cronulla Sharks are gripping on to a home semi-final, but if the Cowboys win on Saturday, they need to beat the Knights.
The sportsbook expects the -19½-point favorites to get the job done, but that’s a big number to cover on the road in the final round.

If the Knights want to save face, they’ll need to produce a much better performance than they have recently.
Let’s review the latest Rugby picks, stats, injury reports, and Rugby odds for the Knights vs Sharks. We’ve plenty of Rugby predictions for you to consider.
As well explore a variety of other rugby odds here to win!
Knights Losing Shine
It has been a dour run for the Knights, who are still somehow in the 12th spot of the NRL ladder despite one win from their last five games.
The win came against the hapless Wests Tigers, and recent losses to the Broncos, Raiders, and Titans don’t hold them in good stead against the Sharks.
It has been another disappointing year for the Knights, who also lost their best player Kalyn Ponga to a season-ending injury.
Betting online markets have the Knights at +450 to win, and those odds seem too short. We can’t see them playing well enough to hold off the Sharks, who are in blistering form, and it could result in a long night for the home side.
Sharks Biting Hard
One of the hottest teams in the competition are the Sharks, who backed up a tough win against the Rabbitohs with four wins.
They haven’t faced much opposition since beating the Rabbitohs, but holding the Bulldogs scoreless last week is an excellent sign.
NRL odds have the Sharks at -19½, and that’s a significant line to cover on the road. However, we can’t find any negatives for the visitors.
Their average record at this stadium is the only negative, but that has often come against a much better Knights team than we’re currently seeing.
The Sharks won the most recent meeting 18-0, and although that wouldn’t be enough to cover the spread, they have improved since April.
Having an in-form Matt Moylan has gone a long way to their success.
“I have really enjoyed this season and being able to play more,” Moylan told NRL.com. “You always want to be winning games and playing finals, but it was a focus of mine to be available to play and train each week, and to get that enjoyment back into my footy.
“Obviously when you spend a lot of time on the sidel ines, and miss training, it is hard to find the enjoyment in the game that you get from consistently training with the group and playing games with them.”
Bettors should have confidence in the Sharks, who could test the best teams for the title.
Knights vs Sharks Head-to-Head
The Knights have a 24-19 advantage over the Sharks. However, it was 18-0 to the Sharks when they last met.
These teams are heading in different directions, and that’s shown with rugby league betting markets making the Sharks overwhelming favorites.

Knights vs Sharks Prediction
It’s a big line to cover, but the Sharks are circling, and a big win is likely. We see them winning by around 25-30 points, which easily covers the spread.
The Knights will want to close their year with a win in front of their home fans, but there’s nothing to get excited about.
The Sharks mean business and should go about it in a dominant fashion.
