Arsenal, Aston Villa, Liverpool: Key Wins and EPL Predictions for This Week
Thanks to a 2-0 win on the road against Wolves, Arsenal is the new leader after a short Premier League weekend, with Man City beating Chelsea in the FA Cup semis. Check out our roundup and Premier League predictions for this week.

Arsenal’s Champions League Heartbreak Turns Into EPL Glory
After being knocked out by Bayern Munich from the Champions League semifinals, Arsenal is the new Premier League leader following a well-deserved 2-0 away win against Wolves.
After being branded chokers and the EPL’s nearly men, Arsenal is refusing to leave the party. And the crisis supposedly engulfing Mikel Arteta’s season appears to have been dispelled for now.
With five games to go till the end of the season, Arsenal is leading the race with 74 points to their name, with Man City sitting just one point behind them but with a game in hand.
Leandro Trossard broke the deadlock just before the break after a scrappy first half while captain Martin Odegaard scored a late goal to secure the three points. Trossard scored two goals in the previous three league games and if you’re looking for a good soccer player prop, you should continue to back him to find the back of the net.

Ollie Watkins: The Driving Force Behind Aston Villa’s Success
Following a superb win against leaders Arsenal and a fantastic last-gasp shootout triumph to book their Europa League semis tickets, Aston Villa stretched their lead over Tottenham to six points in the chase for fourth place.
Villa fell behind in the first half but rallied to win their 20th league game of the season for just the second time, following the 21 victories they registered in 1992-93.
Emery’s side now has the opportunity to go nine points clear of Tottenham before next Sunday’s north London derby when they host Chelsea on Saturday.
Aston Villa has scored 71 goals this season, only the second time they’ve netted that many in a campaign, also scoring 71 in 2007-08.
Ollie Watkins has now had a hand in 31 goals for Aston Villa (19 goals, 12 assists). He’s only the ninth English player to score or assist 30+ goals in a 38-game season.
Liverpool’s Title Hopes Revived After Dominant Win Over Fulham
Liverpool moved up to second in the Premier League, level on points at the top of the table, after a 3-1 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
April 14’s disappointing home defeat to Crystal Palace handed the initiative to Manchester City, and while Mikel Arteta’s Gunners side moved top with a victory over Wolves on Saturday, Liverpool kept up the pace with a dominant second-half display.
Two moments of magic from Trent Alexander-Arnold and Ryan Gravenberch, as well as Diogo Jota’s 100th goal in English football, secured Liverpool a crucial 3-1 win at Fulham on Sunday.

Nottingham Forest’s Next Challenge: Facing Manchester City After Everton’s Defeat
Everton’s week began in humiliation following the 6-0 defeat to Chelsea, but Goodison Park united to land a massive blow that sent a relegation rival into farce.
Goals from Dwight McNeil and Idrissa Gueye were scored in a match that could have a huge say on the Premier League relegation battle.
There were worrying scenes in stoppage time when Everton striker Beto went down after an aerial challenge with Morgan Gibbs-White.
He lay motionless and the game was stopped for eight minutes while he received treatment before he was taken away on a stretcher. He did, however, appear to gesture to the Everton supporters as he was leaving the pitch.
