Bet These Future Props Ahead of Bundesliga 2023-24 Season

Since the 2012-13 season, no other team than Bayern Munich has won the Bundesliga title. Last season, Borussia Dortmund was one victory away but ended up handing the crown in the last fixture. That gives hope to all Bundesliga betting enthusiasts that the 2023-24 campaign will be a close one.

Here’s one last preview before the action begins on Friday, Aug. 18! And yes, at BetUS you’ll find the best odds for every single match, props and outrights throughout the entire season.

Stunner!

Technically speaking, the 2023-24 Bundesliga season began last Saturday with the German Supercup, in which Bayern Munich faced RB Leipzig. As expected, Bayern was heavily favored in the Bundesliga odds, but Leipzig pulled off the stunner with a 3-0 victory.

Bayern Munich won possession with 68% and finished with 13 shots in total, three more than RB Leipzig, but the defense couldn’t contain Dani Olmo, who scored all three goals. The Spanish striker scored the opener only three minutes into the game.

It seems easy to say it now, but Leipzig has a great team. Besides Olmo, the attacking unit includes Xavi Simmons, Timor Werner and Lois Openda. The following players didn’t start in the German Supercup: Yussuf Poulsen, Emil Forsberg and Fabio Carvalho.

Even so, Bayern Munich remains the heavy favorite in the Bundesliga lines to win the title, offering a -350 price. Leipzig is +1200. Bayern Munich is used to turning things around and are used to the pressure. In addition, they managed to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham. Kane scored 213 goals in 317 appearances for the Spurs.

Borussia Dortmund is the favorite to dethrone Bayern Munich, offering a +500 price to retake the crown they last won in 2012. While they lost Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid, they were able to sign Felix Nmecha and Marcel Sabitzer, so they should be fine.

Make sure to mark the following dates on your calendar because the results of these matches could make a difference at the end of the campaign:

  • RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich (September 30/February 24)
  • Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich (November 4/March 30)
  • Borussia Dortmund vs RB Leipzig (December 9/April 27)

Dark Horses

RB Leipzig was considered a dark horse, but they already proved they deserve more. Therefore, we need to talk about Bayer Leverkusen.

— Bayer 04 Leverkusen (@bayer04_en) August 15, 2023

The team extended Xabi Alonso’s contract; he’ll be manager until the 2026 season. In his first season in charge, Leverkusen finished sixth in the Bundesliga and reached the UEFA Europa League semifinals. Leverkusen is offering a +4000 price to win the Bundesliga title.

Playing in two demanding tournaments at the same time isn’t easy, but they have what it takes. Plus, they also spent a lot during the transfer window, adding Victor Boniface, Granit Xhaka, Jonas Hofmann, Arthur and Matej Kovar.

If you were looking for more than one dark horse to include in your Bundesliga picks, FC Union Berlin is also a good option. Last season, the team finished fourth, which means they’ll also play in the UEFA Champions League. In other words, you can expect them to be highly motivated.

FC Union also made some signings, including Diogo Leite from FC Porto. Most importantly, the the team is offering a +10000 price to win the title.

To Be Relegated

In the Bundesliga, the last two teams are automatically relegated, while 16th place qualifies for relegation playoffs. There, the team will face the whoever finished third in the Bundesliga 2.

Heidenheim and Darmstadt, the two teams that got promoted last season, are the betting online favorites to be relegated. Heidenheim is offering a -110 price, while Darmstadt is Ev.

Regarding the traditional clubs, keep an eye on Stuttgart. Last season, they finished in 16th place and are offering a +225 price.

Golden Boot Race

Regardless of the Las Vegas odds, Harry Kane will always be the favorite to win the Golden Boot in any tournament he’s participating in. Bayern Munich finally found the right successor to Robert Lewandowski. I expect Kane to score 25+ goals, and Niclas Fullkrug won the Golden Boot with just 16 goals last season.

Kane’s main threat is Sebastian Haller from Borussia Dortmund, who’s offering a +500 price. Last season, Haller missed a lot of games while battling cancer. Now, he’s at 100% and eager to prove he’s an elite scorer.

I would also consider Timo Werner, RB Leipzig’s centre-striker. The team surrounded him with plenty of talent, and he wants to prove his real worth after two disastrous seasons with Chelsea in the English Premier League. Werner is offering a +600 price.
