Betting Guide: Premier League 2023-24 Futures

August is here, and the start of the Premier League season is right around the corner, with the first games scheduled on Aug. 11. Our sportsbook offers the best markets and soccer live betting in the English top-flight league.

Manchester City to Win Premier League

Manchester City enters this soccer season as the team with the best chance to win the title and for good reason. They are the defending champions and completed the treble, winning the Champions League trophy as well as the FA Cup.

They lost some of their best players in the summer transfer window. Riyad Mahrez completed a $38m move to Saudi club Al Ahli and Ilkay Gundogan joined Barcelona on a free transfer. Their departure will be a bit of a blow to Man City, but the team has much depth on their bench and will be able to fill the holes with players just as talented.

Nothing has really changed much from last year, and they will be just as dominant, so they have a very good chance at winning the EPL title this season. Erling Haaland is ready to score at least 35 goals or even surpass the 40-goal mark. If you’re soccer betting online, you can find Man City priced at -140 to win the EPL title.

To Win EPL Without Man City

Another great option for EPL futures is the ‘without’ market. Of course, everyone will tell you that Man City will easily lift the trophy, but who will come second? Arsenal had a very good team last term. They finished second in the league and were actually leading the table for most of the season before letting it go to Man City in the final weeks.

Arsenal wasn’t even supposed to be contending for the EPL title in the first place. The Gunners are still one of the youngest teams in the league, so their championship window may only just be opening. The injury to William Saliba reiterated that Arsenal’s biggest problem is depth, something that has already been addressed to some extent during the summer transfer window with the signing of Kai Havertz and Declan Rice.

Arsenal has definitely made some moves to improve the team and will have their sights set on the EPL title. They will also have Champions League matches to worry about. It’s their first time back in the Champions League in years, so they will be more focused on that competition, which could hurt their domestic season, so you shouldn’t include them in your soccer picks and parlays.

Liverpool was a disappointing fifth in EPL play last year, missing out on Champions League qualification for the first time since the 2016-17 campaign.

They will have an easier time focusing on EPL matches this season as they are only in Europa League and likely do not care much about the competition, so getting back into the top 4 of the Premier League will be their focus.

Landing Alexis Mac Allister was perhaps the first of several big-name additions for the Reds this offseason. Jurgen Klopp believes it is no secret Liverpool needs further signings this summer to address their lack of a proven defensive midfielder. They will definitely sign some more top players, and we expect them to finish second, just behind Man City. According to the latest soccer odds, they are priced at +300 to win the trophy without Man City.
