Erling Haaland is the favorite to finish as the Premier League top scorer in 2023-24. That is hardly surprising given how brilliant the Norwegian was last season. Only an injury can stop him from claiming the prize again.
He certainly had an unforgettable maiden season at Etihad Stadium. The Norwegian finished the 2022-23 campaign with a whopping 52 goals in all competitions as he lifted the Treble. Overall, the 22-year-old plundered 52 goals in 53 games, scoring 36 in the EPL, 12 in the Champions League, three in the FA Cup, and one in the Carabao Cup.
Having scored more goals than played league games last season, registering four separate hat-tricks and scoring against 16 of the other 19 teams in the Premier League, the odds on Haaland not to lift the Golden Boot will be huge. According to the latest soccer odds, he is priced at +200 to score 35+ Premier League goals.
Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is the last Premier League attacker to have won the Golden Boot in back-to-back seasons, and he may be the biggest hope to stop Haaland from achieving the same feat. Salah and Liverpool were short of their best last season, but he still managed to score 19 times in the EPL and net 30 goals in all competitions.
A more well-structured and rested Liverpool team may help Salah rediscover his goalscoring form, and there is no doubt he will work tirelessly to make it back to the number one spot. He is priced at +125 to score at least 25 EPL goals next season and at +600 to surpass the 30 goals line.
The Egyptian star previously held the record for most goals in a single 38-game Premier League season, notching 32 back in his debut Anfield campaign in 2017-18.
Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)

Rashford was the top Man United goalscorer in the EPL last season, scoring 17 times, He will be hoping to reach the 20-mark for the first time. One of Erik ten Hag’s greatest achievements was getting Marcus Rashford back to his best.
With a new striker in Rasmus Hojlund, Rashford will be able to operate from the left-hand side next term. The 25-year-old has said he prefers playing in a wider role, where he feels best and can deliver more balls for the strikers and, why not, score more goals.
Rashford’s pace, trickery, and precision make him a difficult player for full-backs to deal with. He is priced at even money to reach the 20 EPL goals mark, but we don’t expect him to score that many. If you’re betting online, you should avoid backing him.

New $66m signing Christopher Nkunku injured his left knee in Chicago and is a major doubt to face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge next weekend. Nkunku was injured in a heavy collision with Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels and is set for scans to establish the extent of the problem.
The former Paris Saint-Germain forward has been involved in 88 goals, 47 scored, and 41 assists in 119 Bundesliga appearances for RB Leipzig. He already scored two goals in three friendly games for Chelsea and is priced at -125 to score at least 15 goals next season –probably the best value bet for the 2023-24 EPL season.
