Weekend Soccer Picks: Bet on Quick Strike from Reims
We’ve got a mouth-watering array of fixtures in a weekend that will begin in September and end in October, with top-of-the-table clashes between Girona and Real Madrid in La Liga and Brest and Nice in Ligue 1.
There’s also a scintillating Premier League matchup between two undefeated sides in Liverpool and Tottenham, and plenty more. We’ve got you covered with the best soccer picks and parlays for the weekend’s action.

Reims to Continue Fast Starts
It has been an impressive start to the Ligue 1 season for Will Still’s Reims, who sit fifth in the table, three points behind league leaders Brest. If there was a motto to sum up their red-hot form, it would be: Early bird gets the world.
They took the lead within 10 minutes of their Ligue 1 opener, only to fall to a 2-1 defeat at Marseille. The following match, they opened the scoring within 17 minutes, adding another in the final minutes to grab a 2-0 win vs Clermont Foot. Oumar Diakité’s equalized in the 17th minute as they drew 2-2 at Metz before entering halftime with a 1-0 lead after going ahead in the 19th minute, only to fall to a 2-1 loss to Brest.
Marshall Munetsi set up goals from Mohamed Daramy and Keito Nakamura in the 12th minute and 16th minute as Reims won 2-1, handing Lille their first home defeat since Aug. 31, 2022. They’ll be hosting a Lyon side that sits 17th in the table with two points from six and that is coming off a 1-0 loss to Brest – a scoreline that was far more respectable than the two sides’ performances, with Lyon registering six shots and three on goal in comparison to Brest’s 27 and 11.
Les Gones are in crisis and will be looking to get their first win of the season under new manager Fabio Grosso. They look to escape the drop, having failed to lead at any point this season, scoring three goals and conceding 11.
Favored on the soccer betting lines, Reims have what it takes to get off to an early start and pick up yet another victory under Will Still, who is just two weeks away from his 31st birthday and his one-year anniversary in charge of the Ligue 1 club.
Soccer Pick: Reims halftime – fulltime win (+220)
Bayer Leverkusen and Goals Winning Picks
Matchday 6 of the Bundesliga season is upon us, and there’s certainly no shortage of intriguing storylines in Germany’s top-flight league. RB Leipzig will host Bayern in a rematch of last month’s DFL-SuperCup whilst Gladbach will travel to Bochum in an early relegation six-pointer. Over in the MEWA Arena, we will see Bayer Leverkusen travel to Rhineland-Palatinate as online betting road favorites.
Leverkusen sit second in the table, level on 13 points with league leaders Bayern Munich, and they’ll be looking to continue their unbeaten start against Mainz, who sit bottom of the table with one point. With 17 goals scored and six conceded, Leverkusen have had a sensational start, falling behind on just two occasions this season and coming back both times to grab a 2-2 draw against Bayern. Apart from that draw, they have won all six of their matches in all competitions, with five of those wins featuring a margin of at least three goals. They continue to be a top soccer parlay pick.
As for Mainz, they have kept just two clean sheets since the start of April – a 3-0 win at Leipzig on April 1 and a 1-0 victory against second-tier Elversberg on Aug. 12. Whilst Bo Svensson has attempted to steady the ship by bringing in experienced veterans like Joshua Guilavogui and Anwar El Ghazi, it may not be enough as they face off against a Leverkusen side that is brimming with quality in just about every area of the pitch, specifically center forward.
Nigerian striker Victor Boniface has eight goals and three assists in his first seven matches for Die Werkself since making the move from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise, and I’m expecting him to continue his stellar form against a Mainz side that has scored four and conceded 14 so far.
Soccer Pick: Bayer Leverkusen to win and over 2.5 goals (+110)
