3 Can’t-Miss Plays for Your Weekend Soccer Parlay!

Barcelona is one of my main picks for a soccer parlay bet this weekend along with another La Liga match and a Serie A game. We are back to cash a three-game parlay at around +570 in the season’s last round.

Barcelona ML (-122) vs Sevilla

In what should be the final match of Xavi’s reign, Barcelona closes out the 2023-24 La Liga season against Sevilla at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium on Sunday. Reports have emerged that Barcelona parted ways with coach Xavi Hernandez on Friday.

Barca’s second-placed finish is done and dusted ahead of the season’s last round, while their hosts have been condemned to a bottom-half placement.

Barcelona won their last three La Liga contests without conceding, besting Real Sociedad, Almeria, and Rayo Vallecano over the past fortnight to end the campaign.

Ravaged by injuries and ending the season with a whimper, Sevilla should not put up much resistance against an in-form Blaugrana crop, who should give Xavi the perfect send-off.

If you like betting on player props, Robert Lewandowski is the player to watch and bet on against Sevilla. He is priced at +120 to find the back of the net.

Napoli -1, -1½ (-115) vs Lecce

Lecce looks to be on vacation as they head to Stadio Diego Armando Maradona to face Napoli on the final day of the Serie A season. Lecce slipped to defeat without scoring a goal in their last two games at home to Udinese and Atalanta, who both had much more at stake.

Napoli also has more riding on this clash than the visitors as they can squeeze into Europe again next term if they leapfrog Torino or Fiorentina and scrape into the top nine.

But with Fiorentina in action on Thursday night and Torino kicking off their final game of the campaign at Atalanta at the same time, Napoli may soon know the task is beyond them.

High-scoring wins were commonplace under Luciano Spalletti, particularly in last season’s Scudetto-winning campaign, but despite retaining star attackers like Victor Osimhen and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, they have rarely been able to get out of third gear.

This is a must-win for Napoli and they should be able to finish the season in style against Lecce who has nothing to play for. We expect the hosts to cover the spread so we will include them in our soccer picks and parlays.

Piotr Zielinski should be handed a place in the starting lineup as he makes his final appearance for the club before joining Inter on a free transfer in the summer.

Real Sociedad vs Atletico Madrid Over 2½ Goals

Real Sociedad solidified their position for European competition after a 2-0 win against Real Betis, securing sixth place in La Liga.

They face Atletico Madrid who, despite their defeat to Osasuna, has confirmed their spot in the next season’s Champions League. An engaging clash is anticipated as both teams aim to end their seasons on a high.

Diego Simeone’s troops were beaten in their last league fixture, 4-1 at home to Osasuna, while they have also lost four of their last ten on the road in the league.

Atletico has long been the scourge of Sociedad and was victorious in the reverse fixture back in October. Each of the last six league meetings has seen both sides find the back of the net and the same could be expected at the weekend.

Questions of the Day

Who could score for Atletico Madrid against Real Sociedad?

Antoine Griezmann has been Atletico’s standout star this term, scoring 24 goals across all competitions, of which eight have acted as match openers.

Who could score for Napoli against Lecce?

Matteo Politano rounded off the scoring for Napoli in a 4-0 win in the reverse fixture and will be keen to contribute again since four of his last five goals have come at home.
