According to Las Vegas Serie A odds, AC Milan shouldn’t have any trouble defeating Frosinone at San Siro. However, keep in mind that Milan lost three of their last five games at home in all competitions. Don’t get me wrong, the home side deserves to be favorites, but I don’t expect a blowout.
AC Milan Practically Out of Champions League
Midweek, AC Milan lost 3-1 to Borussia Dortmund at San Siro. I hope you followed Alex Campean’s advice of betting on the over. That result sent Milan to last place in Group F of the UEFA Champions League.
Now, it’s time for the team to focus on Serie A, in which they’re third, six points behind first place. The problem is that they only won one of their last five domestic matches and are under a lot of pressure.
Most recently, they were the Serie A betting favorites against Fiorentina, winning 1-0. Left-back Theo Hernandez saved the day by scoring a penalty right before halftime.
Regardless of the result, AC Milan scored in four of their last five matches in all competitions. The talent is there, but I believe they lack commitment. The team’s top scorer is Olivier Giroud, who’s 37. No disrespect, but other European powerhouses are led by young players aged 22-24.
To be fair, the injury bug has been particularly mulish with Milan, but Rafael Leao, who didn’t play against Dortmund, could return on Saturday. Plus, Francesco Camarda, a 15-year-old striker, made his professional debut last week.
Frosinone Aiming for Top Five
Prior to the start of the season, Frosinone was among the online betting favorites to finish in the relegation zone. Now, after 13 games, the Giallazzurri are closer to the top five than the relegation zone. Currently, they’re 10th, three points behind fifth place.
Last weekend, they defeated Genoa 2-1 with a goal in stoppage time scored by Ilario Monterisi. They controlled the match from start to end, winning possession with 58% and taking five shots on goal, two more than Genoa.

Frosinone scored in four of its last five games, and Matias Soule is the main reason to consider betting on the visitors. However, if you aren’t convinced, you can still bet on Soule as anytime goalscorer in our Serie A player props.
Now, I must tell you that Frosinone is winless on the road. However, they already faced Inter Milan at San Siro, and despite losing 2-0, they put up a good fight.
AC Milan Undefeated in Matchup
AC Milan and Frosinone haven’t met since the 2018-19 season. Their last encounter also took place at San Siro, where AC Milan won 2-0. Overall, Milan is in control of the series thanks to a 2-2-0 record, nine goals for and five against.
On average, Milan scores 1.6 goals per game at home, while Frosinone scores 1.3 per game on the road. With the total for Saturday’s clash set at 2½ goals, you must include the over in your betting online ticket.
AC Milan vs Frosinone Betting Predictions
Besides having several players out due to injury, Giroud won’t be available due to suspension. Therefore, I don’t expect this to be an easy victory for AC Milan, like our Serie A odds suggest. However, I do expect them to get the three points. In the end, winning the Serie A is all they have left, and backup players must take advantage of this opportunity to prove their worth.
