Let’s check the latest MLS odds, stats, injury reports, and MLS lines for Austin FC vs FC Dallas. We’ve plenty of MLS betting odds for you to consider.

Will Austin FC Make Home Advantage Count?

Austin finished runners-up to Los Angeles in the Western Conference, taking 56 points from 34 league games. They won 16 times, drew eight, and lost ten. They were solid pretty much all season, though they did have a wobble at the end, losing half of their last ten fixtures.

Austin finished the regular season with just one win in seven, so their form was not the best when they entertained Real Salt Lake in the first round of the 2022 MLS playoffs last week.

The Verde and Black found themselves 2-0 down to Claret and Cobalt after just 15 minutes. However, after two Sebastian Driussi goals, the hosts went on to draw the game and win 3-1 on penalties.

Josh Wolff will be slightly concerned with Austin’s recent run of results, but his team showed plenty of fighting spirit to come from two goals down to secure their spot in this playoff semifinal. Can they now edge past Dallas and move into the Conference finals?

Will FC Dallas Spring an Upset in Austin?

Dallas also had a solid regular season, as Burn took third position in the Western section. Nico Estevez’s troops picked up 14 wins, suffered nine losses, and drew 11 of their 34 league fixtures. They finished with 53 points in the bag, three points behind Austin.

Dallas made sure of their playoff berth with a string of wins in the latter months of the campaign. From July, Burn claimed seven victories from their final 13 league fixtures, suffering only three losses in the process.

In the first round of the playoffs last week, Dallas also needed penalties to progress. They went a goal down to Minnesota United at Toyota Stadium, with Emanuel Reynoso opening the scoring for the visitors shortly after the break. However, Facundo Quignon leveled just ten minutes later. The pair could not be separated after 120 minutes of action, and Dallas went on to win 5-4 on penalties.

Austin FC vs FC Dallas Head-to-Head

Both meetings between Austin and Dallas in the regular season finished level. At Q2 Stadium in June, the home team came from two goals down to grab a 2-2 draw. Austin were also behind in the meeting at Toyota Stadium a few weeks later, but Diego Fagundez equalized late on to rescue a point in the 1-1 stalemate.

Dallas were the last winners in this fixture, picking up a 2-1 home success back in October 2021. They also won 5-3 in Austin in the game before that. Since forming, Austin have not beaten Dallas, losing three and drawing two of five.

Austin FC vs. FC Dallas Prediction

Austin may be the favorite on home turf, but Dallas are the team in better form right now. Also, the Frisco side have never lost in this fixture, though the last two have ended in draws.

Austin are not an easy team to play against at Q2 Stadium. In fact, since May, only New York Red Bulls and Portland Timbers have won on their patch. As for Dallas, they have lost five of their last 12 away games.

This all-Texas playoff match could go either way, but we fancy the home team to edge it. Austin are our soccer picks in this one, and you can bet online now and get the top odds of -105 on our sportsbook.

Pick: Austin Win (-105)
